Seeing the Spurs turning up the D another level this season is a good sight to see and makes me worry much less about this Fisher signing, look at it this way they could still have Harden and Fisher on the same team but with Harden gone that corpse will finally be black and blue should the spurs meet OKC again in my own opinion.

Should have traded Parker for Lillard or Thomas Robinson tbh

There's no point in contending if you don't have LeBron or Durant, Stern wants to turn them into his new Magic/Bird to go full circle once he retires.

Never understood the appeal of a slow point guard that is a below-average to mediocre shooter, and averages less than 4 assists a game. Fisher's now 38 years old. I doubt he'd even be in the regular rotation with the Thunder.

Well it's over now. Sefolosha has played well in the past defending Tony, but Derek Fisher is just on a whole new level. The speed and size that TP can't cope with means we are doomed.

    Time to tank.

Derek Fisher is the best PG in the league

Led teams to multiple Finals appearances. How many Finals appearances do Rose, Nash, and Paul have combined again?

If Fisher plays every game for 2 playoff rounds in 2013, he'll at least tie Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for 2nd all-time in playoff games

If he plays in 16 playoff games in 2013 (a reasonable possibility if he plays his way into the Thunder rotation and they win 2 rounds at least), he'll pass Robert Horry for 1st all-time in that category.

That was quite a few years ago. Fisher's 38 years old now, and slower and less mobile than he's ever been in his career....

This is excellent news for the Spurs, considering Scotty Brooks basically played one of either Thabo or Fisher last year. Hopefully Fisher continues to get minutes over Sefolosha, cause his defense absolutely killed TP's production last year.

We have nothing to worry about. The Thunder are still going through the Spurs curse for beating us last year. You beat us, you don't win.

I believe Pop said something about using multiple D-League players as the human sacrifices for this season.

Fisher. If he was not in OKC last season, there is no way OKC can rally back from down 0-2.

The only minutes he will play is if the Spurs come up against the Thunder in the playoffs. him up Tony.

Fisher does not worry me at all - ...why not?

Because the Spurs have a hall of fame genius coach and he would never screw the Spurs by putting someone like a Gary Neal to guard Fisher in a crucial playoff game...in the crucial moments of a crucial game...

    ah ...
