Parker should get some run but the only thing that may keep him from gettin' it are his stats ..... that's just because the Spurs are so balanced across the board.

James is pretty much leading his squad in every major category while being in first place in his conference. Kinda like Kobe in 2008.

lebron led last season also, he hasnt done anything worth mentioning besides high efficiency and the so-claimed coasting turning it on/off is bull anyway, if his coasting his supporters should bring a argument why his team is 38-14 now with the 14 losses why they loss? cause his coasting?...

if that scrub steve nash 2nd mvp 05/06 season can win with his ty stats high efficiency, i dont see how parker cant win or cause an upset with those type of stats...maybe cause his french and playing on a small market team with no PR to get enough votes...
even if you look at derick rose mvp season, i dont see any difference what rose did compared to parker besides being more of a volume scorer/facilator...parker is not that far off anyway against the other elite players in the league....

whatever remaining games against the top playoff t eams or elite players, he needs to show up and outplay them to generate any PR if his to win...

No one should have ever won an MVP over LeBron since maybe 07, and this year is no different. Maybe Parker could have an outside shot at the sentimental Iverson vote if he didn't have 3 rings and a Finals MVP already, but it would be a travesty so who cares?

That's a re ed argument, if a player of a lesser team has more impact on his team why should another guy that is less VALUABLE but is on a better team should win Most Valuable player?

For example Nash winning the MVP over Kobe in '05/'06 is a freaking joke.
Gotta agree; as much as I talk about Kobe, he was definitely the MVP in 06.

there's not a doubt that bron is the best player in the league now (in fact he's been the league's best for quite a few years) and the MvP award will be a well deserved one for him. delivers impressive statline at incredibly high efficiency and he never pad stats like durant and rapist, winning the championship is the only thing that matters to him now.

He put up tremendous numbers but the squad finishing a 7th seed was probably his downfall on that award.

If you suspect that no one in the East dared to make a big deadline-day deal because trying to unseat the Heat is a futile exercise, you're not alone. And if you're not the sort who pays much mind to PER ... even you've got to be impressed when you hear that LeBron's PER is 37.1 in February.

the east has been weak since jordans retirement, even then jordan did played against bull teams in the easts, only worth mentioning in the easts were knicks and pacers....orlando and heat only started to compete during or after the bulls 2nd repeat

Holy . I don't even think Wade had that level of PER in the 2006 ECF when he completely demolished Detroit in maybe the most amazing playoff series I have seen a player have since 86 Jordan.

Both Dirk and Nash were better than Kobe in 06.
