Well, the Spurs advantage of Westbrook having a meltdown has been mitigated. Somewhat. Props to Presti for making a solid move. They needed locker room glue and leadership & they found it.

I groaned when I saw this. No bigger Spurs killer in the history of the NBA.

He'll get bored after two games of looking old and haggard, and then he'll randomly "need to be with his daughter" again in order to weasel out of another contract, tbh...

    or

My family is everything. I try to stay as close to them as possible. This is why I went from LA to Utah back to LA, then went to OKC, then to Dallas and back to OKC. You know....because of family.

unfortunately, things like this make you wonder if that whole fiasco when he was in Utah about his daughter during the playoffs was even true. He may have exaggerated the situation just to help him get out of there.

Fisher cited the desire to spend time with his family as his reason for leaving Dallas in late December after starting nine games for the Mavs. However, the su ion among his temporary Dallas teammates was that the five-time NBA champion would join a contender later this season.

"It wasn't a big surprise," one Mavs veteran said. "We expected him to end up with the Lakers or OKC."

Added another Dallas veteran, while rolling his eyes: "Good for him. Good for him."

Karma will catch up to this got and then proceed to rape his ass til he dies from internal bleeding and organ failure a la Mr. Hands.

    Cuban ting on Fraud Fisher.....

    http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2013/0...ots-at-fisher/

“Look, I understand, completely,” Cuban said Tuesday prior to the Mavs’ home game against Milwaukee. “From the time Derek was here to him signing with OKC, his kids are older, so they can deal with things better. So I understand him having more comfort in being away from them.”
