Gotta say, he is the prospect I am most excited about, especially if he can put on a little bit of muscle. Like Hanga's game but I don't see as much potential.

cojo/mills
hanga/de colo/denmon
leonard/bertans
blair/richards
splitter/baynes
lol blair. why would the spurs resign him? its clear they want him gone and he's going to be a FA
I like this lineup. Put us right in line for another 1st magical pick in the lottery.

Richards sucks. Bertans and Hanga (playing pretty good in the Spanish league) still needs a lot of work.
Agreed. Richards is done. What league is playing in these days. Last I heard it was the Eritrean National Basketball League.

Richards seems like alot of physical potential and basic skills work going to waste since the kid can't get his head on straight.
Talented British Ryan Richards (212-C/F-91, agency: Interperformances) had a great game in the last round for league's leader BC Vienna and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 21-year old had a double-double of 22 points and eleven rebounds
Ryan Richards averages just after two games 27.5ppg and 10.5rpg

What league is that again. Austrian you say? Pretty sure you said Austrian. Sorry, I confused their talent with one of the poorest African countries in the world, but I guess that is an understandable mistake.

sample size.
Has a great jump shot which is nice. Still far away from being ready for the NBA though. The Spurs will be a lottery team in 5 years which will be something that we haven't experienced in a really long time. It'll be interesting. But, hopefully there's some more elite prospects when our time comes to draft that high.
playing in austria is worse than playing in china tbh.
I hate be a homer, and you might be right, but I don't see it. My dad who grew up there and brainwashed me to be a spurs fan because the were winners in the 70's and 80's was right. Spurs are winners. Not always champions...but always winners. . I got live through watching the Robinson games of the 90's. Spurs have never been losers despite a couple specific seasons.
I just don't see it. Utah 7th seed purgatory maybe. But not lottery.

Nearly drunk which is the reason for the edit.
The transition between one franchise player and another usually requires bad seasons, plural. There were a couple between Ice and DRob. We got EXTREMELY lucky in only having one crap season to bring Tim on board. There will never be another ready out of the box All Star like Tim available in the draft again. The WORST thing you can do is hover in the low playoffs area. You'll never get better than that. You almost have to intentionally blow up your team and draft high for 2-3 years to ever be really good again.
Seems like a pretty good prospect.
