    will we see Baynes tonight?
Meh who knows, but it's pretty disheartening to see the big rotation without Boris, microball and turd towers as usual zzzzzzz.

Every now and then we get that glimpse of Manu if he had decided to take more money and be a lone star on another team.

Really like what I see from Joseph. Hope he continues to get minutes whether he remains the starter (while Parker is out) or not.

I really don't believe that could happen. He is a per minute superstar, but I really don't think he could ever handle top dog minutes and increase that production. He's have games, but over the course of a season his per minute stats would suffer in a decent fashion if asked to play 38-40MPG.

Great ball movement, solid D. Looks like the team has decided to lift in TP's absence. Great stuff.

Cory made a few mistakes, (notably the TO right after a steal), but that's a communication problem, and the idea was fine. Defense is good, and the D against Brandon Knight in the last 30 seconds was great. Stayed close, Got his arms up vertical and made it a tough shot.

I really like what I see from CoJo. He isn't lighting up the stat sheet or anything, but he looks comfortable and isn't making too many mistakes that can't be attributed to just nerves.

Dude obviously came outta college early, and the Spurs are giving him that extra maturation that he shoulda gotten in college, in the D-league. He won't be a star, but he's gonna be a player who knows the system like the back of his hand and who plays Spurs ball. I'm happy with that.

Looking at the schedule. Although we are at home a ton, we have some tough games ahead. Glad to see tonights effort, but the real test are yet to come. We got clips, memphis, okc, golden state twice, lakers, utah, houston....and some other not gimmie games.

Dear Americans, the word is "aggression", not "aggressiveness", which is a word made up by illiterates eg. "I love Kawhi's aggression".

    Aggressively yours,

    Ruff

No offense, man, but that's not true. Aggressiveness IS a word. It means the quality of being aggressive. Aggression is the state of being aggressive.

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/aggression

Most words that end in -ness are actual words that developed to separate two nuanced ideas. They're often misused, but they are still words.

As ironic as it sounds, I think the Spurs will miss Tony more on the defensive end than on offense. They have enough guys who can shoot and score and with their system people will always be open and get good looks (look at that Bulls game they won or even the close loss at Miami). Manu and Tim can still create elite-level offense in bursts.

On defense though, Parker makes life really tough for people like Westbrook and Paul when he's engaged. Neal is terrible against guys like that, obviously, and Mills and De Colo both have their limitations there as well. Mills pressures the ball well, but he's ultimately too small and makes a lot of mistakes in his own end. De Colo has size, but isn't quite athletic enough to hang with elite guards and doesn't have experience and doesn't get respect from the refs.

Joseph has some defensive chops, but he too lacks experience and will get zero respect too...

I agree the 6th man role (and Timmy/TP) has helped his career but there are still games that show, when in his prime, the numbers he could have put up (not just points) as the main star.

Cory looks like he's good enough to get the minutes he needs to improve. I like him as the starter for the next few weeks. I hope Pop lets him have his ups and downs, though.
