A penalty for cheap nuttshots should have been implemented in the early if not pre stages of the NBA.

you guys are weak. So was Ibakas shot there but whatever. He was tied up looking up at the rim and came down on griffin. It was intentional but it wasn't like he reached down his shorts and pulled a nut out. Doubt Ibaka had in his head that he was gonna hit his nuts. He just came down an I'd bet anything griffin wasn't the slightest bit hurt and it actually looked like more of a leg shot.
I would give him 1 game.

why would he be suspended? refs actually went for a review and determined it was flagrant one... that's not a suspension... I get the next game is against the Lakeshow, but that would be terrible from Stern, tbh

True, a glance could still hurt, but it's Griffin we're talking about here so one has to naturally assume it was a complete flop. It wasn't really a punch. I don't see closed fist there. He just came down and hacked at him. Again, not condoning the move, but Ibaka simply isn't a dirty player so I think it's fair to chalk this one of up a bad lapse in judgement - not saying he shouldn't get a suspension, just suggesting I don't think he deserves the label of dirty player from 1 incident. Now if this were an Artest or a guy with a history of cheap shots, it'd be a different story.
