    In all honesty, all things considered, Lakers are probably the 6th best team in the West right now, which is quite the improvement from earlier in the season..

    Their style of play is more conducive to playoff success than the Nuggets IMO..

    I'd still rather avoid them in the playoffs, I'd much rather face Golden State, Houston or Utah..

    Hawks are mediocre, GS has a terrible defense and HOU is a fringe playoff team. Then after those you listed, it's terrible team after terrible team.

    22 games left... I have these games penciled as sure loses for Lakers:

    at OKC
    at Pacers
    at Golden State
    at Clippers
    vs Golden State
    vs San Antonio
    vs Houston (this one could be the decider)

    then there's a couple games that they could lose:

    at Hawks
    vs Memphis
    at Portland
    at Phoenix

    So you're looking at 15-7 at best, 11-11 at worst...

    A bit shaky DPG, but refs missed one a few shots prior on Kobe ... so I like I have said so many times on here ...calls even out over a game or a season.
    I know a bunch of ass niccas like to look for bull conspiracies ... but if there was one why do they allow dwight to get in to foul trouble? why does Kobe lead the league in techs? Do we get calls ...especially at home? Yep. But so do other teams and other stars. I dont whine about the Calls the Heat get (except Lebron going weeks without a foul) because I get that it's the game. Stars get calls. Rookies and no names get hosed ...and the refs serve plenty of home cookin. No conspiracies just the way it is ...

    If LA goes 15-7 they more than likely make the playoffs. That is a better pace than HOU is on.
