Another dangerous games for the Lakeshow:
@ New Orleans (back to back from OKC game)
@ Phoenix (back to back from Sacramento game at home)
@ Milwaukee (back to back from Minnesota game)
@ Portland (back to back from Pelicans game at home)
Our record in the last 15 games is a prime indicator as to how great we will be in the next couple of weeks. We were due a run. This is a championship level squad.

Again who cares? PG thinks we are a lock to make playoffs ... El No No has huge doubts ... I think we are "probable"
Since we have it well do ented lets see who is right.
I think we lose against OKC, Indy and definitely to SA on the road. wE probably lose another game or 2 on the road and and at least one more home game ...
I think 16-6 is possible, 14-8 , most likely and 13-9 probably our floor ...
You have to add back2back games... @ Phoenix and @ Milwaukee.... @ NO is also back to back
Those teams all suck and LA is actually focused now. They have figured a lot out and playing at another level overall (look at their last 17 games and the record).
I don't care if they are on the road b2b2b's - those teams are horrifically bad most nights. Lakers are extremely hot including beating Dallas on the road.
Lol nothing is owed at this point of the season. Everything is taken.
OKC will probably be without Ibaka vs. the Lakers, that's another advantage, tbh..
I think your chances have more to do with Utah than what your team does... I don't really have doubts, I don't think Los Lakers will make the playoffs, and stand by it. Just my opinion though.
But they still haven't figured out how to beat a contender (aside from their fluke OKC win).
LA is a slightly above average team and 1st round fodder. Nothing more.
Well, as I said, the rest of March they play 1 contender (OKC= whom they beat before) and virtually everyone else is historically awful and unwatchable tbh..
Lakeshow are 4-8 on 2nd game of back to backs... there's nothing "hot" about these Lakers... they're playing better than 3 months ago, but nothing to write home about...
I could make a case for each of those teams save for the Wizards.
Suns are playing spoilers, Bucks are a pesky team, Toronto has a chance if Gay puts up his numbers, Kings can hang with the Lakers. And did you really listed Chicago as a terrible team?
I'll give you tcups though. They are irredeemable at this point.
They have an uphill battle man. Not only fo they have to win these games but they are totally dependent on the likes of the Rockets or Jazz.
First, I said "own".
Some teams just typically do well against other teams.
Bucks used to own the Spurs.
Bobcats used to own the Lakers ...
LAkers own the Warriors and Wolves doesnt mean it wont ever change but I doubt Gstate sweeps us those 2 games. YOu make them sound like the Heat they are good but more akin to the Rockets ... who are great on offense and iffy on defense so they run hot and cold. Could they sweep us? Sure. But I doubt it. Heat, Spurs, OKC LAC? Sure they are all on the way (or already have done so) to sweeping us ... but Gstate aint that.
Aren't they like 14-3 over their last 17? Pretty hot imo..
DPG's laker schtick has been subtly good all season, praahps tbh.
making a case for all those teams. By your logic, everyone is good and there are no bad teams. Just silly talk. Those teams suck - sorry, it's the truth. Does that mean they can't win? No. It just means they lose more than they win hence them sucking.
Also, your one "sans" team, the Wiz, have actually been playing well.
Lots of questionable-quality teams have a shot at sweeping these Lakers this season... including Chicago, Toronto, Orlando, Memphis...
No , but I think ypu overrating the Warriors. My guess is Gstate gets hot cuz they have a home heavy schedule ...but we split those 2 games imho.
Uh? They're 12-5 over their last 17...
Unlike Nono, I don't expect the Lakers to miss the playoffs. Utah is incompetent on the road and due for a losing streak. The Lakers will play consistent .600 ball till the end of the season and likely snag the 8th seed. But they are nowhere close to playing contender level basketball and aren't really a threat to do much of anything in the playoffs. I admit I don't want to see them in the first round, because every time the Lakers and Spurs matchup, the breaks always seem to go their way, not to mention Parker's tendency to puke on himself when he sees those Purple 'n Piss uniforms charging his way. Other than that, Lakers will get slaughtered by OKC or the Clippers if those matchups somehow happen.
We'll just have to see which one of us is right then mr I'm always right and you are wrong.
The best shot will be the game in LA, no doubt... but we'll see...
Yep. "Scorching hot" in Lakerland. Meanwhile, Spursfans upstairs would have the straight razor hovering over a vital artery if the Spurs were that "hot."
We'll know more about dem Lakers after the OKC game on Tuesday. Kobe's been playing extremely well and have gotten good shooting from their bench but a lot of the same problems remain. Bunch of close wins against sub .500 teams and the East aren't much to write home about. But i guess it beats losing those games tbh
