They should've just moved the prison group to Morgan's safe house. That place was like a fortress with all those booby traps and literally hundreds of guns. Good position from the roof and windows too...

That seems like the smart thing to do tbh. New safe location that the Governor is unaware of.

This was a very good episode except the part where Rick gets stabbed with a 6 inch knife between the shoulder and chest, wraps a bandage around it, and shows no signs of pain for the remainder of the episode.

Or Michonne retrieving the family photo from zombie-infested King County Cafe in only a few seconds.

But then again, we are talking about a show with walking dead people, so I don't know how realistic we should expect it to be.

It's been like a year since went down, he probably just had to travel around a bit and get weapons from dead folks. He might've even gone to hotlanta and gotten some crap as well. Would also explain why gasoline isn't much of a problem now; no one left alive to use it.

I want to see another horde of zombies (like Rick encounters in Atlanta) come up. The farm being overrun was nice, but I want to see a bigger mob come through the prison and/or Woodbury.

It's fairly obvious that no one has been in that town for a while except for Morgan and walker presence is basically nil. I say lock up the prison and move on out of there during the night, using it as a last resort. Mayberry will eventually fall due to it turning into crazy town while Rick and company chill out in his old town. Kill off Andrea, Glenn, and face Carl then start fresh with Morgan.


I'm sure he'll be back. Dude was bananas before Rick showed up; now that he knows there's a friend out there, he should stick around.

I refuse to believe it! It's already proven if enough people are outraged at a situation on the show, the writers will change it. If the world unites and lays down its arms(ushering in a new era of world peace, of course) in unison, wanting that little to die, then the writers will kill him off.

Agreed. The zombies in 28 days later or 2004's Dawn of the Dead would be more interesting.

The only way the the zombies in this show are threatening is if they form a herd - which is why both the prison & governorville are a bit ludicrous, as both are surrounded by woods/forest. Obviously you would want a location with clear sight lines to the horizon all the way around.

Fast zombies are gay...it's a proven fact. It's a never ending debate but its always 5-1 that most people prefer slow\herd dangerous zombies. Fast zombies are scary as but then you wont have a show....hence the reason why the world ended in dawn of the dead

Dunno how accurate it is but usually those wiki nerds try to get things right. I don't remember the ep but I do recall (I think Andrea) saying they were on the run for like 7 or so months.

No its an amazing show but it has a few ruts and a ton of problems behind closed doors with staff. It started off as Frank Darabont's show (the director of Green Mile\Shawshank Redemption). The show was amazing, then he left due to fights with AMC over budget. They replaced him with another guy who had the first half of season 2 sucking .

After the first half of season 2, the show got great again and I felt the first half of season 3 was very good as well. The last few episodes have been ok-decent. I heard Glen Mazarra took over the show now and they had more changes behind closed doors.

Glen Mazarra has been showrunner for all of this season, but he has since left, too.

The guy taking over as showrunner is Scott Grimple, who wrote the most recent episode (which I've already stated is my favorite of the series), as well as some of the other highlights. Based on the episodes he's written so far, he seems to have a pretty good handle on how to keep the show compelling while sticking to the slow pace and focus on character/dialog that defines the source material. All of which makes me feel pretty optimistic about the show going forward, so long as they can ever get through a full season without firing (or otherwise losing) the showrunner.
