I just pretty much posted the same thing on ESPN, I dont hate the Thunder because they're good, I hate them because of their at ude.
I was able to tolerate it tonight since it was against the Lakers.
But yes the Thunder have their fair share of annoying players. Westbrook, Ibaka, Perkins, Kevin Martin (his flopping and girly shot)
And most of all, DerekI want to be close to my family
Fisher.

Shoulda been him, not Rose.
Methlahomans shouldn't be allowed be allowed to procreate, let alone have an NBA team tbh.
That said, the Lakers all day, errday.
Basically what HarlemHeat37 said in the game thread downstairs, the Thunder are a team full of fake tough guys who rely on the refs more than any team in NBA history...
I have reached the point where I hate OKC just as much as the Lakers, tbh..
Let's be honest..if Kobe didn't play for the Lakers, most of us wouldn't hate them as passionately..
OKC's entire core, save for maybe Kevin Martin, consists of douchy, fake pussy players, tbh..compound the historic amount of officiating bias in their favor, and it's impossible to not hate them..
rofl there were a number of Spur fans that were rooting for OKC in the Finals last year. You know who you are.
Tbh ..theres only about 3 things that scare me about OKC.
1. Durant and Westbrook getting a bunch of BS calls..
2. Fisher
3. Ibaka going off just like he did last year. (Although I hope Pop and the Spurs learned their lesson)
Kevin Martin doesnt scare me for . I still think that trading Harden is going to bite OKC in the ass come Playoff time. Kevin Martin is a shot maker, that's it. Harden was an all around player, a shot maker, play maker, and pretty good defender.
The Thunder are easily more hateable now tbh. The Lakers aren't going to do and are no threat. The Thunderefs and their meth ridden franchise stands in our way for #5.
Agreed. Hopefully Danny Green is on a hot streak and having Tiago next to Tim instead of Boris should help. I still think OKC would be favored over us, but we have enough advantages to overcome them too.
+1. While OKC would probably be favored, I think the Spurs are better prepared to take down OKC this time around. Like you said, having Tiago next to Tim for almost the entire season is one of the main reasons the defense has improved greatly. I also think Kawhi is a better overall player now. He got a full training camp under his belt, he's more comfortable in the offense, and the team even looks for him in the post at times this year. All I hope and wish for is health. I think a fully healthy Spurs squad can take down this OKC team and reach the Finals. We just gotta hope for that health...
My god I ing hate them both so much.
Seriously, how could a Spur fan even choose one of the two to cheer for?
Agreed. Damn, I want to get those s in the playoffs again.
Unnoticed stat: Ibaka is nearly 40% from 3 this season (37.8%); and he has hit some big 3s last couple of games.
Like Tony he's horrible above the break but good from the corners.
Mostly because the logical extension of a midrange shooter would be a corner 3, tbh.
Durant is legit as Duncan. Anyone who despises him is just a damn loser.
but the rest of them, mostly can go kill themselves for all I care. starting and ending with:
Chimpbrook
African policeofficer
Sphinx
zombie fisher
Good Stuff. I hate the Thunder like the Suns, but the Laker hate goes too deep...
Thunder get away with very much right now ... they clobbered Kobe which I enjoyed but thinking this could be one of our guys ... not nice
There are hierarchies of hate.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
2. LA Lakers
.
.
.
~8. Miami Heat
~9. OKC Thunder
(Steeler hate transcends sports boundaries.)
It's very easy for a Spurs fan. Now, if it's Lakers vs Utah ...
My Utah hate has faded over the last decade. It turns out it was just Karl Malone hate.
Scarily, mine has too. But then I just watch some old tape to keep it fresh and flowing. It's easy, takes less than a minute.
