1) Bad guys have a hard time getting guns: Criminals have resorted to using “archaic flintlock pistols” and “retrofitted flare guns.” There’s been one mass shooting in 15 years. This despite the adage, “When guns are illegal, only criminals will possess them.”

2) Fewer illegal guns: Faiola reports that, according to ballistics studies, “Most gun crime in Britain can be traced back to less than 1,000 illegal weapons still in circulation.”

3) Fewer gun deaths: Someone in England or Wales is about 3 percent as likely to be killed by a gun as an American. There were 59 gun deaths there last year. The U.S. annual gun death rate has hovered around 10,000 for years.

For the last time, the United States can not be compared to these other countries as firearms are a RIGHT given to us by the founders of our country. You always want to focus solely on homicide rates and completely skip over the violent crime rate the U.K. has, how convenient.

The student's argument was that the evidence was not conclusive and assumed the burden of proof. However since she was the one making the argument that is not quite how it works. She certainly made no attempt to control any of the data for cause. I have pointed out many times you fail at understanding what that means. But hey at least you could read the le of the thesis.

Look, you can post all the studies you want, but its a waste of your time, I'm done reading them. They don't prove anything as our countries are too different concerning gun culture.
