    Its obvious the Pelicans are tanking when the head coach leaves the best defensive player on the team for the entire 4th quarter when the Lakers are making a big run. Heck, 'Brow is the best overall player on this team.

    Ok - I'll stop. I do think LA makes the playoffs and I don't want the Spurs to play them round one, but I don't think they are amazing (they could be though). I bet $500 against them with DD so I don't see how people forget that

    The league has been trying to get James and Bryant in a head to head for years. It took moving James to a stacked system and stacking the Lakers to almost get the planets to align.     If the Lakers do squeak by and get that 8th or even 7th seed, look for some crazy to happen for them to get to the Finals. Stern is on his way out in a year or so, he wants a big fat paycheck to go.

    I've never been much for the conspiracy thing, but this is a product like the WWE and it's handled in a similar fashion, only the players aren't actors (most aren't).
