Krugman got spanked.
Krugman got spanked.
Scarborough is right about Krugman being undermined by his own contemptuousness.
re ed poster Darrin totally fooled by rhetoric.
I'll take Krugman's economic EVERY DAY over a Repug politician's propaganda and bubba baiting.
the touchdown dancing never stops with you.
(whenever you stop ing the ball, feel free to join the discussion.)
I SCORE a LOT!
Scarborough definitely wins the style points, but I don't think he can factually back up his premise that the long term debt issue, which everyone acknowledges, is a near-term crisis. There is what appears to be an insatiable appe e for us bonds, despite the low yield.
Scarb sucks Pete Petersen's billionaire
people are afraid to lose money and will essentially park it for free. that's not a good sign.
the fiscal crisis per se is overhyped. it's not a crisis right now.
it will be in the medium term, but people are all clenched up about it now for some reason.
so, you know, never let a good crisis go to waste . . .
I would disagree in the aspect that we have too many people using government funds, causing a huge deficit. We need to make it more uncomfortable to live on the generosity of the tax payer, so these people will take any job available.
that barely makes sense WC.
Restate?
I disagree with the fiscal crisis being over-hyped. I think we are in the beginning of a national meltdown. We have too many people who feel en led, and the expression about more people in the cart with not enough people pulling it is becoming real.
Too big of government with the bureaucracy that never tries to reduce itself. Social programs constantly grow larger and larger with no end in sight. Nobody in government jobs want to put themselves out of a job, so they always try to expand. There is no motivation to spend less on social programs.
People live too comfortable on the social programs we provide. What incentive do they have to get off their duffs?
I think you are near the beginning of a personal meltdown. I cannot decide whether it is more humorous or tedious.
as your reader, all too real.
Proleptic.
Government didn't get bigger under Obama . . . yet. Total employment is still more or less a wash.
So, we have a differing opinion. No surprise there.
a solid majority of welfare recipients work for a living. it's not just a bunch of lazy contemptuous scroungers.
government didn't grow under Obama so far, if you're counting heads. that's a damn fact.
Only because it can't.
I wonder what the final bureaucracy of Obamacare will look like?
I don't wonder what your next mini-meltdown will look like. I'm guessing it'll look a lot like this one.
You must be drunk again if you think I'm having a meltdown.
Maybe you should check yourself... Make sure you aren't in meltdown mode.
check the face in the mirror. you're the doom and gloomer.
ex-Goldman Sacks Pete Peterson, 1%er/VRWC extraordinaire, has spent $500M of his own lucre for 30+ years pimping the deficit. the "starve the beast" / -the-47% strategy. no surprise (if you're eyes are open)
