It shows simple human nature. No matter what position or job someone has, there are unethical people who will abuse their positions. Police officers, politicians, priests, etc.
Shows exactly what is wrong with religion. It is man made and as a result open to corruption from man. At the core the values are sound... no doubting that but the fact that is so much corruption and covering up worldwide in any religion really highlights how bad it is.

This is a huge organisation that is effectively enabling and encouraging sexual abuse. Catholic priests are also the most prolific sexual abusers of children on earth. How can these man be seen to be men of god when they allow such things to happen. Ratzinger knew every case of child abuse since 2001 and did nothing.. how can a human being look the other way in this respect?

the economy has grown, say 10%-20% something over the past few decades while the size of workforce as almost doubled with all them es having escaped from the kitchens, which results in the record-high unemployment rate, and it subsequently leads to higher crime rates as well. rape, murder, pros ution etc... all these crimes are -related imho.
