Cameras are fine, and no one will care if you wear a Raptor's jersey (although there aren't a lot of hockey fans in SA).
Hi guys:
Apologies to post this in the wrong forum section (I'm sure) ... just have a question. Am visiting San Antonio from Toronto and am hoping to go to the Spurs-Thunder game. Wondering what the policy is on cameras (i.e., are DSLRs allowed in) and how you guys would feel about a random Raptors jersey showing up in the arena? (I think you lot are classier than other NBA fans that I've had the misfortune of being around but I don't want to ruffle feathers.)

Camera policy:
Cameras/Video Recorders-AT&T Center Policy-Franchise Policy
No professional camera equipment may be brought in for any AT&T Center event. This includes any type of “detachable” lens or flashes. Cameras are discouraged, but are permitted as long as they meet the previously mentioned criteria. Video equipment may not be brought in unless you are taping a friend or family member who is participating in a half-time performance, a promotion or some other special cir stance during the event. However, they must be checked in and you will be issued a tag at the concierge desk or Guest Services Center at the east entrance. Anyone caught videotaping or taking professional photographs of an AT&T Center event will have their film confiscated by an usher. The camera will be taken to the Guest Services Center booth at the east entrance. The camera can be picked up at the end of the game. The AT&T Center is not liable for any damages occurring to cameras brought into the building.

Basically, handhelds and small cameras are okay. If your DSLR has a detachable lens, they won't let it in.
As for wearing a Raps jersey, you'll be fine, especially since it won't be a Raptors game. Even if it were, you might get a little smack talk, but San Antonio fans are generally pretty accepting of fans of opposing teams.
They will allow the "new" (okay, been out for 3-4 years) digitals that somewhat looks like SLRs that have the insane zooms (like 40x, 60x, etc) but the lens are technically attached. Those are your best bets for a game - especially if you're not sitting courtside.
You should wear a Matt Bonner Raptors jersey.
You can practically wear whatever you want to an nba game, fans aren't as hardcore as football or baseball fans. I've worn my TD jerseys to the FedEx forum and Chesapeake and I just joked around with the thunder and griz fans. Nba games seem to be a little less hateful from my experience
non-spurs fans downstairs are going to have a riot with this one.
I can assure you this is not the case. Most fans from most teams are pretty much the same. They're heavily biased towards their own team and obnoxiously loud when calls don't go their way. They'll grow silent when a star player of an opposing team goes down with injury, and they'll clap as he's being walked off the court (this is the only "classy" gesture that sometimes happens during games). There's nothing special about spurs fans.
