It's true
Well... I personally want the Spurs to face the Lakers 1st round. That way I get to see the Spurs be the ones to put the Lakers out of their misery despite Kobe's guarantee of making the playoffs![]()
Indeed.
If the Spurs were an 8th seed that would mean no Duncan, Manu and Parker.
Sad part is that scenario is just a few years away.
+Parker though.
Nothing to do with that.
Blazers just had one of those games and Spurs just happen to be terrible on the same night.
Blow out happens in the NBA even to the best team guy.
ElNono with the ty "lol meth" go-to take
embarrassed on your own floor by a non-playoff team
btw we'll see how far the knicks get in the playoffs. Just don't cry when Melo starts sucking come playoffs time like he always does
Didn't Thunder lose to the Wizards? I'd take a beating by the Blazers instead of losing to nobodies like the Wizards. lol
You got zero room to be talking .
Why would I care what happens in the east?
losing to fat DWill at home with a full roster
losing to the Wizards
pretending bad nights don't happen
meth
And you all lost to the Hornets as well
"no room to talk". Gtfo
losing to the nets
getting blown out by a non-playoff team in Portland
backdoor swept
gimmicky offense being exposed like clockwork
But that's the point... teams have bad nights.... just like det one night when your team lost to the Timberwolves![]()
I disagree the Spurs were tanking. The Lakers are on pace to capture the 7th seed anyway, so tanking to Portland and losing a game over the Thunder in the standings makes little sense. I also disagree Pop is trying to avoid the Lakers. Logically, there's nothing to fear about a team that routinely gives up 60+ point halves, is old and slow, has zero depth, has a primate for a center who can't make freethrows, and is coached by Mike D'Antoni.
The fear of the Lakers we Spur fans have has more to do with past events rather than anything the current Lakers, who are a far, far cry from Phil Jackson's Lakers, are doing. They are an average team at best and the Spurs should be able to take care of them in 6 games max. That said, I also have that irrational, gut level fear of them, since everything always seems to go their way against the Spurs (.4, every Spur shooter choking on a big in '04. Plane troubles in '08 and Manu just deciding to suck for no reason in that series, etc, etc).
And lol at giving up 37 first quarter points at home to the Raptors.
Yeah, I'm sure Pop is shaking in his loafers at the prospect of facing the Lakers in the 1st round.

And what's your point? Thunder lost to the Wizards+Nets+Atlanta+Minnesota+Cleveland and lastly a choking Utah team.
Your team by far has the tiest losses compare to the losses the Spurs have had against bad teams.
So yeah I got plenty of room to talk if I so choose. You do not.![]()
Remember that time the Spurs lost to the Suns at home and the ty Pistons?![]()
Or are you talking about vs Cleveland?![]()
Remember that time a couple of months back when we swept the Spurs?![]()
depending on Portland and Spurs injuries to get the #1 seed
wanting to make sure they get raped by Miami again
