It's a bad night for that got.

Spurs lose and get blown out at home.

We win and Kobe goes into God mode.

    Kill yourself, mid.

Expecting this one to go down to the wire...

as that's what typically happens between teams of a similar caliber.

Mediocre teams often find themselves in shoot outs with bottom feeders.

It really amazes me how Lakers fans can be happy with this team's performance. The Lakers are needing miracles lately to escape the likes of the Hornets and Raptors (at home).
They get the "we are destined" feeling just like Spurfan had last year with the 20 win streak and the two series sweeps. That wakeup call is oh so rude when it's served up as a Pringles can sized meat joust to the puckered starfish by a chain smoker named Delroy.

    Nice game by Howard:

    24 pts
    13 rebs
    5 blocks
    3 stls

0.5 games behind Utah. Lakers over 0.500 sons.
I've been predicting all year that we are due for a big run. We're in that run as we speak.

You guys needing OTs to beat scrub teams at home with high end games from a known chucker isn't a phoenix rising from the ashes. It's more like a maggot fly rising from a steamy pile of .

Let's do this the old fashion way.

500 straight up the Lakers don't reach the WCF.

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

Why would I commit suicide and deny myself the pleasure of seeing your 9 figure embarrassment of team get destroyed in the 1st round?

Which will no doubt send you into another long exile, Blessings.

Chill, chili breaths. The Lakers just won one game. We fans just do the same thing that you do when Tony Parker scores 30 over a no-namer point guard

The big 3 all played well tonight...Utah is a trainwreck so they're virtually out of the picture. If we can get Gasol back w/ a few games before the playoffs this team will be a ish nightmare for one of the Top 4. Still hoping we hold onto 8th seed though. 6 or 7th would mean we'd have to face the Clippers, Thunder, and Spurs in consecutive rounds.

No one, expect the Spurs (Danny Green, Dice tip in, Roger Mason Jr.), ever hits game winners against the Lakers. I can't remember the last time they've been beaten at the buzzer.
Half court oop courtesy D12 tbh.

We're playing without our best offensive big, who just so happens to be our 3rd best player. We're not playing with a full deck yet.

Yes, it was an exciting game. However, there is nothing to be excited about here. Lakers are just too old, and are struggling against any team with some youth. The inevitable reality is it's rebuilding time. Jim Buss is going to be under a microscope in the offseason.
