3 is higher than 2, especially when you have the lead late in the game

They are so terrible, tbh..
If your team has a Black coach, you better have either:
A) The consensus best player in the NBA
B) Elite White assistant coach or 2

He still refuses to play Valenciunas over Aaron Gray with 20 games remaining and the playoffs out of reach..
Worst coach in the league, by far.
He didn't sit the 1st overall pick in the 4th and score only 9 points when he was up 25.
What about doc rivers?apparently the master strategist
Doc surely didn't get KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Rondo on the same team. That wasn't talked about much in sports media. Funny they now consider Doc to be a "great" coach, yet his assistant gets CotY and led his team to a better record with only PG. Makes you wonder.
Nate
Avery
Mike Brown
Doc Rivers
Cheeks
Woodson
Williams
Mark Jackson
Jacques Vaughn
Whomever Toronto's coach is
who else?
Thibodeau ran the Celtics, it's common knowledge..
Boston runs the same scheme post-Thibodeau..
Damn, that Laker win stangs. BNSFs everywhere maaaaaaad.![]()
Larry Drew
Byron Scott
Lyndsey Hunter
Lionel Hollins
Ty Corbin
Keith Smart
Besides Rivers, Scott and Woodson, the NBA's other black coaches are Mike Brown (Los Angeles Lakers), Avery Johnson (New Jersey), Dwane Casey (Toronto), Paul Silas (Charlotte), Lionel Hollins (Memphis), Tyrone Corbin (Utah), Larry Drew (Atlanta), Alvin Gentry (Phoenix), Monty Williams (New Orleans), Mark Jackson (Golden State) and Keith Smart (Sacramento). A half-dozen will be coaching in the playoffs starting this weekend.
So only Doc has won a ring as a black head coach?
I've been saying this for years..
I've predicted the Lakers would make the playoffs all year, tbh..their wins against horrible teams are irrevelant to me, relax..
KC Jones won rings in the 80s with Bird/McHale/Parrish..
Doc Rivers and Jones are the only Black coaches to win in the modern era IIRC..
Kobe going bananas against doormats of the league doesn't really scare anybody tbh. keep having miraculous efforts against non playoff teams, and fall short against every team you might actually face in the playoffs.
epic comebacks against Raptors and Hornets
needing epic comebacks against those teams
2-13 against Top 5 western conference teams

Your point? Pop has 4 rings.
Pretty much...and people forget that in 2007 (the year before the Big 3 and Thibs came together), the great Doc Rivers led the Celtics to a 19-game losing streak.
I mean no offense to black people but leading, Inventing, being smart in general is just not in their genes.
