Arguably, there's no Mexican player that's playing better abroad than Carlos Vela. Javier Hernández can score (and his goal/shot ratio is elite) but needs others to create those opportunites for him; Vela, however, is capable of creating his own shot and creating for others. Seems like he will again end up on the very short list of players in La Liga (Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi being the other two last season) to score at least 12 goals and contribute with at least 7 assists.

From my vantage point insecurites, and misplaced pride need to be pushed aside for the greater good of Mexican Fútbol.

Chepo needs to publically apologize to Carlos Vela for "singling" him out during the Monterrey incident. Should he have to do that? No... but get it done and over with; the sooner the better.

Carlos Vela needs to grow up accept whatever apology is issued and move on; the sooner the better.

You simply can't shun away that type of talent.

I don't really care about Vela right now, we don't need him for qualifiers. I'm more concerned with Chepo's lack of trust in youth players. Why are players like Torrado, Sinha, Sal to, Magallon, Omar bravo etc. still getting called up?

I will concede that Bravo is having a good season but still... At least he called up Raul Jimenez this time.

And chepo's ty 442. It didn't work under Hugo and it isn't working now.. Why did he switch from what was working? 2 strikers up top doesn't work. At least not Peralta and Cheech together.

Oribe is injured though so hopefully he goes back to the 4231 or tries Jimenez with Cheech.
