I've said it before, but I have respect for guys (especially guards and small forwards) who actually challenge plays at the rim. It's weak to see dudes constantly just ducking out of the way. This is the nature of the beast when you play defense. Sometimes you swat dudes, sometimes you get murdered mid-air.

it won't, unless you get a tiny guy like Nate Robinson dunk over someone like Howard or Duncan. Other good in game dunks are the Griffin dunks over Gasol and Porkins tbh cuz they're legit big guys. Getting excited about a dunk on a PG is about as surprising as Germany rolling over Belgium in WWII fwiw

I prefer Micheal's baseline spin and dunk over Ewing. That one was against a solid team, one of the best defenders in the league and it meant something. Vince jumped over a pussy foreign player who was intimidated by him anyhow and basically just shielded himself. Impressive leaping ability sure, but meant nothing really.

I can see an argument for the Mozgov being #1, but the pubes in Ewing's face, pushing Dudley over into the stands, and Kemp's point and laugh earn style points tbh. It's a shame that Blake's not an alpha like dem other s on that list.

This is how backward the basketball culture has become, how twisted the value system. This time, it was Brandon Knight. A year ago, it was the Clippers' Blake Griffin dunking on Kendrick Perkins. As a center, Perkins is bigger, stronger, and that makes Griffin's dunk more impressive. They gave Perkins this treatment, too. Even now, he still comes back for more.

And somehow that makes him an achiever in the sport now. After this, perhaps even a folk hero. For Brandon Knight, who had the guts to stand in there, there were prominent people writing that he had been raped and assaulted and killed on Sunday night in Los Angeles. Eight inches shorter and 80 pounds lighter, Knight understood the right thing is seldom ever the most popular. Brandon Knight didn't run and hide, didn't spare himself the humiliation.

The culture of this sport has never been so backward, never so twisted. of a dunk out of DeAndre Jordan, but maybe the wrong player gets the ovation.

Eh, kids today think dunking is everything. If you can dunk and run, you can play in the NBA. unfortunately, you got dip GMs who believe this as well, which is how DeMonkey has a paying job.
