not sure if mentioned but maybe Pop has a new defensive adjustment: when Splitter is out there, put him on one of the guards , seemed to work during that stretch in the 2nd quarter.

Great effort for the Spurs in the 2nd quarter. GREAT
I know this goes against everything that is logical....but we lost our momentum when Manu starting going one one one and slowing the game down at the end there.

Hey, we are up seven at the half. No one of us imagined this about mid-way through the first quarter, so we can take it happily. If we can keep Leonard scoring, and if Manu can get Sefalosha in foul trouble, and if Duncan could consider playing some better defense, we might have a chance at this.

Kawhi,Green, and Splitter are a huge reason why we are up but man oh man seeing Kawhi take over during that one stretch was incredible to see.
It allows the Spurs to stay big. Honestly, having Splitter and Duncan in at the same time is the best way to neutralize Durant.

Needless to say that was a incredible turn around. Looked like we were dead in the water after the 1st. GREAT 2nd quarter, although the last two minutes were terrible. Diaw is playing really poorly. He's a liability cause he's not a threat to score. I hope he doesn't get any PT in the 2nd half.
I'm proud of this team. I don't care if they win or not. I just want them to compete and show backbone, which they've done for most of the season.
The Good:
Kawhi, this kid is amazing
Green, good to see him making shots against OKC
Pop staying big despite Durant playing PF. Pop put Tiago on Fisher like the old times against Mavs, with TD on Raja Bell
The bad
Boards, OKC is killing us
WE have to admit that after the Thunder went up by so much they sort of let up their intensity. IF we can keep them from getting it back in the third, we might have a shot.
WTF is up with Manu's FT shooting this season? I almost trust Splitter to hit them more than Manu lately.
I hope they smell blood in the 3rd. Okc is playing 4 in 5. Gotta keep pouring it on.

we were down by that much and came back that quickly. guess what, it can happen to us just the same if we get too confident about it
Sigh... Boris Diaw's lack of energy sometimes really pisses me off.
I'll take the lead, but I would have preferred to have a double digit lead. Can't complain though. The Thunderefs are due for a huge run though. Hopefully our guys are ready.
