Bonner -- DNPCD.
No more than 7-8mil/yr i hope...

No need, he's not needed. Pop has big plans for Bonner. And anyhow Pop is going to train up GNeal to play C.
word...............................
We need to re-sign him but to paraphrase Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction, "Let's not start sucking his just yet." Let's hope he does this in the playoffs and remembers how Pop chewed his ass off in front of everybody on Game 6 last year.
If Tiago and Kawhi can play like this every night, TD and Manu ca extend their careers and the Spurs maintain compe ive. Good stuff.

Know who's really getting good? TIAGO SPLITTER. Somewhere, Stephen A is cringing.
I hope the Spurs are able to resign him and without drama. If he wants more money, get another ring for Timmy and then make his demands.
Who cares? He's restricted, they have quite a bit of flexibility and this is clearly the ideal situation for him (and he knows it).
I realize it's Spurs fans nature, but the constant panicking about this makes no sense whatsoever.
WERD...I can't wait for First Take tomorrow...![]()
Some people say that when the Thunder goes Small, that there is no answer for them. I said that if Durant has to cover Tiago, let him. Tiago will abuse them in the post.
So...why fear them again? No Harden and even if Westbrook scores 30, that's fine if he takes like 30 shots to do it. It's the same formula Pop employed against Bean all those seasons when Bowen was his lead perimeter attack dog.
Splitter had more touches today then he normally does
and he had more (any) post touches
it remains to be seen if the team will consistently get him the ball and if Parkers return will get him the same amount of touches
the evidence throughout the season so far says this wont happen
and its not the offense Spurs are worried about its the defense
OKCs small lineup is
westbrook
martin
sefolosha
durant
ibaka
he would have to guard either martin or sefolosha if Duncan is taking Abaka
if Duncan is taking Abaka then he will get all the mid range shots he wants
if hes guarding martin then feast on 3s
sefolosha is the one probably have to guard but sefolosha has some moves off the dribble
Splitter only passed it out of a post mismatch once and took advantage of them 3 other possessions. That move he put on Collison was beautiful.
The only reason Stephen A is on tv is cause hes a obnoxious, loud black guy that pretends to have a big vocabulary. Terrible ing analyst tbh.
Man, if they don't sign him who's gonna do the in' Ancira commercials?
Tiago really needs to work on his fast break, how many times have we seen him blow a 1 on 1 fast break before?
If this season ends with a parade, I'm for paying that dude anything he wants.
With the way he's played, I wouldn't be surprised if he's our highest paid player next season, or 2nd highest after Tony's 12.5 mil. We're probably going to have to match a big offer from a Center hungry team with cap room such as Atlanta, or even Houston would love him next to Asik. Fortunately, Tiago seems to love the Spurs and has great friendship with the players here. Tiago is 28, so a 5 year deal would be fitting, having him here pretty much throughout his prime.
FWIW, if another team was to offer Tiago a max contract, it would be about 14.5 mil per year (based on this seasons salary cap figures). While outside teams can offer 4 years, we could match that or offer a 5th year. That would be more or less a 4 year 58 million dollar deal, which is what Roy Hibbert got, and a bit less than what Brook Lopez got. I don't think teams would value Splitter as much as a guy like Hibbert or Lopez, so I doubt he gets a max offer. I think a team would realistically throw 8 figures easily, considering Deandre Jordan and Javale McGee have contracts paying them roughly 11 million dollars a year apiece. Something between that figure and the max around 14.5 should be expected. My expectation is he signs for Tony money, being in the form of a 4-5 year deal with about 12.5 mil per year

lovin the vids and pics
agree with freetiago, without Parker the offense was forced to go through Splitter more often... I remember games he shoot as low as 4 shots the entire game, guess it's a matter of who is on the floor
He is a keeper!
I think it's going to take 4 years $40 million to keep him here.
Don't look him in the eyes... you won't be able to look away.
Chris Paul, hold mah !
