Tiago's stat of the night: 34 minutes. If he can play 34-38 MPG in the playoffs we'll see a world of difference from last year.
Let's not get racist now. I hate Stephen Asshole Smith as much as the next Spurs guy but his race should have nothing to do with it.
I missed the game, it looks like Tiago had a rough night. What happened?
Someone said in the game thread that the refs did not respect tiago, didn't give him the calls he deserved.
Ah, that sucks. Thanks for letting me know.
Isn't he one of the guys that loves to bring race into the discussion though?
Ill take splitter showing up vs okc over a non playoff team any day of the week.
Stephen A Smith has been fired multiple times by ESPN for racism pretty much
and Splitter should file for a sexual harassment lawsuit tonight tbh
they were allowed to bang and touch him everywhere with no consequence
they got a lot of touch fouls going there way on the other end
and its amazing how Tiago was so injury prone and couldnt handle 20 minutes but the next season hes magically the most durable Spur and plays in every game with bigger minutes
I guess Popovich was right, he just became healthy
Hmm... has the past month's uneven play devalued Splitter in the Spurs eyes? Has Parker's injuries exposed Splitter as a system player who can be replaced?
I think maybe a little, but not enough for the Spurs to let him walk. He's the player I have the most questions about going into the playoffs though.
I thought Splitter peaked exactly when Parker was out, he had a bigger role.
??? WTF? Tiago played MUCH better when Tony was rolling. When Tony AND Manu are out or struggling, Tiago almost can't score. He needs the table set for him.
Tiago playing scared. Time to man up or he'll get paid like a star and become the subject of weekly vent threads.
brazilian got looks like a pussy.
tbh

My boy T-Splitt$ is about to get paaaaaaaid...a visit by a real estate agent! thoroughly playoff soft and unimpressive.
Dwight was tossing him around like a rag doll come on Splitter get some balls and play with passion.
Oh Lord.
His offensive game left a a lot to be desired, but his passing and post defense (on Gasol) were exceptional. Needs to help Timmy out a lot more on the glass as well.
Tiago Splitter ain't worth a food stamp.
Jinx thread tbh. His D was good thought
Yeah he probably played overall better when Tony was playing, but his best game was that OKC game when Tony was out. Don't know how you wanna define peak.
Dude played all 82 games after having being limited the year before. He had a bad game tonite but give him a break he is still extremely important in that serie and his D has been ok.
He s still gonna get paid by the spurs or another team
WTF are people talking about - Splitter played tough all night.
We know what Splitter is - pnr savant, occasional post up (not overly effective), great passer, tough defender who tries very hard. I hope he's a Spur for a while to come.
Unlike other delusional Spur fans, I won't be upset if Tiago gets "paid" as long Manu resigns at a very good discount (Ray Allen type deal) and they have enough left over for another big and another wing player. Gotta hit those 3 caveats for me to be okay with Tiago returning for such a high price-tag. We'll see
