Reggie Bush got a 4 year contract with Detroit???? 4 Years to a 28 year old role player RB who has only twice played in all 16 games in a season??? lol Detroit.
The reason i think that's a decent deal even at his age is that he really doesn't have a lot of wear and tear on him.

LaRon Landry visiting Colts today. Please oh please let this happen Based God. Dude had a solid year last season. Did get hurt a lot with Washington but still nothing in comparison to Bob Sanders' ing glass shoulder. Instant upgrade and guaranteed to start. Gotta draft another S too to prepare for Bethea leaving later on down the line.
He was still ranked as average or below average according to advanced stats IIRC. If you want a safety that goes for the huge hit instead of making a fundamental tackle or a safety that goes for picks and blows coverage go for it. And I was a huge Landry fan when he was coming outta lsu.

I seem to remember Landry being pretty solid when he played with Sean Taylor, but maybe Taylor was just so good he made Landry look good doing mop up work? I dunno. Bethea is a solid safety but he's more of a coverage guy. When we had him up top and Bob Sanders playing all over the place going for big hits and being the 8th dude in the box, our D played a lot better. But we're in a new defensive scheme now. Either way Landry is a better football player than Tom Zbikowski so I'd be down to sign him.

Filed to ESPN: Broncos in serious talks, trying to hammer out an agreement with Patriots WR Wes Welker. Decision expected today.
I thought Denver's WRs were the least of their problems.

wait, what were Denver's problems again?

Since the Chargers haven't done jack in FA, I can only hope that means they're serious about rebuilding and ready to trade Philbilly, tbh....

Now that Glover Quin is signing with the Lions, Texans will turn their attention to another veteran safety to replace him.

Quins agent is reporting that the Texans never made Quin an offer and that the deal with the Lions is 5 million a year for 5 years.

    What. The. .

The Texans better have another safety locked up or I'm going to punch the closest infant.

Lions are quietly having a great offseason...if they can follow it up with a solid draft they might be back in the playoffs

With how Brady was fellated for taking an extremely classy pay cut by the media, it'll be priceless if/when the Patsies lose Welker and don't get any big names, tbh

There's no point in them breaking the bank right now when there'll be plenty of big names left the way things are going. I'll start getting pissed if they don't use any of the cap room Brady created to improve the secondary at all. New England is gonna have the money to sign Talib, another starting caliber corner, and a real strong safety. If they don't do that, Brady should be livid for taking a paycut.

What would be even more hilarious is if Denver is really offering Welker a 4 year/$45,000,000 contract to a 5'8" honky slot receiver in his 30s. I don't want New England paying him close to that.

Yes, Denver is incredibly stupid for blowing their cap space on Welker, but then again, we're talking about the same team who decided to build around the Neckless Wonder and expects him to not choke in the playoffs, tbh....

and now they expect the neckless wonder to complete passes to a 5'8" runt who needs perfect timing and bullet passes in tight windows to be effective

Just saw Denver gave Welker a two year deal, New England must have really offered him something horrible

A 2 year/$12,000,000 deal is what Welker got. New England probably should have matched so that's a little annoying, but @ this being the lucrative long term deal Welker has been waiting to get.

I told my bro who graduated from A&M in 2001, that the Pats would draft Ryan Swope (this was probably 2 years ago, when I first saw Swope play); looks like that predictions has more legs now.

Danny Amendola who's fully capable of replacing Welker as long as he stays healthy, but his inability to stay healthy is why I wouldn't count on it. If they sign Amendola and add an outside threat so they don't need to get huge production out of the slot receiver position, their offense will be better next year.
