Now that's who the Spurs should actually worry about.
Mavs only 2.5 games out of 8th and have won 4 in a row.
KoMe could be out for a little while, so the Mavs could pounce.

^So tonite, act like somebody.
Don't need to and do you seriously want the Lakers season to end in San Antonio.
Yes. Anything but that Lottery Pick ending up back here. Christ, I'd never hear the end on talk radio.
Yep.
Mavs have regained some of their old selfs back.
If the Mavs have enough to overtake the Lakers, they can prolly overcome GS for that 7th seed. Hopefully the Spurs can keep ahead of the Thunder to avoid that headache.
Mavs impressed today, but even if they make the playoffs, they won't contend unless Dirk starts attacking the hole like he was doing during their le run. I mean he was hitting his one leg fadeaway like crazy that year, but he countered it with his drives to the rim and getting to the free throw line. Didn't see too much of that today
A representative for the Spurs told me that the Spurs would welcome the Mavericks as the number 8 seed because they are looking to finish the first round as quick as possible via sweep in order to get extended rest for the second round.
Lakers have a much easier schedule than Dallas, Utah or Portland IIRC..they'll make it without any problems..
This. Lakers schedule is a cake walk compared to the Mavs. Lakers will get the 8th seed at worst, and wouldn't be surprised if they got the 7th seed either.
the mavs would've ranked top4 in the west had the season started in feb imho. they dug a hole in the early half of the season when the team was playing like w/o dirk, and they've almost escalated themselves up to the ground level to partake in the 8th seed pursuit, which's already been heated up among houston, utah and LA. dirk's injury ed up the season for them if they miss the playoffs tbh
True..they have also lost 7 games(?) by 3 points or less..
