1) Manu and Neal are currently splitting the backup PG duties.
2) That is because our star point guard, who normally fills 35 MPG, is injured. Joseph can't play 48 minutes a game.
3) Once Tony comes back, Joseph will hopefully shift to the backup PG spot, allowing Ginobili to shift over to his natural SG position, and allowing Neal to shift down to the end of the bench.
4) Manu is obviously in a funk, and the only way he is going to fix that is to play his way out of it. The Spurs aren't going anywhere without Manu being effective, so better to put up with these pains now than in the playoffs.
