So who's going to be participating in the festivities starting today through next Sunday? Downtown is already getting crazy even in this crap weather.

I don't partake in much of the Interactive/Media/Movie part, but next week I'll be enjoying as much music as possible, I took Thursday and Friday off to just roam aimlessly (sort of). My buddy introduced me to an app that you just put your email address into and it RSVP's you to almost all the parties you don't need a badge to get into. Free alcohol!

I tried to look at the extremely complicated schedule a couple of times but really couldn't make heads not tails of it; it's probably more complete and decipherable now. I'll be heading in for the Clapton show on the 17th, hopefully as the masses are heading out.
started the party last night. rsvp'd to about 100+ events and even though i'm feeling a little sluggish, i'm getting ready to hit the town again tonight.

I'll be there hopefully Wednesday through Saturday. Strong rumor of Prince and Daft Punk playing but we'll see. And if anyone wants to meet Shaq, he's in town.
I'm going, but I'm working the entire time so I have to stay sober. Never been sober at the festival, this should suck.
Honestly as someone who's lived in Austin for a while now, SXSW is one of those times of the year I actually leave town. ing wack ass hipster tourist crowd.
I made it a point to be on the lake all weekend (got blown off of it yesterday but still).
Love SXSW, always a fun time.

I usually go to the film festival only. Last year I saw a shorts collection and the premiere of Wolf which was made by some SA filmmaker friends of mine. This year I'll go Friday and/or Saturday. Not sure what I'm going to see yet.

Against my better judgement I was persuaded to go to Austin yesterday to visit a friend and it was eerily quiet. Probably the easiest, peasiest Sunday I've experienced there.
Flaming Lips and Local Natives for free on friday.
