It was actually a terrible analysis... especially the defensive part. Indiana must've missed 20 uncontested layups... that's not defense, that's getting lucky. It happens over 82 games, but it doesn't over a 7 game series.

The East is inferior to the West, but it looks worse due to Miami's dominance, tbh..

It reminds me of the Lakers in 2009 and 2010, where teams like Phoenix and Denver made it to the WCFs..

The West was a weaker conference, but the Lakers were the best team in the NBA, and that wouldn't have changed if they were in the stronger conference, tbh..

pacers are probably the 2nd best in defense but i'd still pick knicks and brooklyn over then in terms of overall quality at this moment tbh. just because they match up well against us and often cause us troubles it doesn't mean they're indeed that good tbh
