Overrated in wrestling quality perhaps but not overrated in entertainment nor great characters. The promos were pretty damn good too actually.
The promos were very good but still doesn't match the Golden Era.

No, not by a long shot but you had guys like Jake, Piper, Dibiase, guys who could tell a story. The at ude era was moreso about entertainment since that's when WWE started gearing more toward the entertainment aspect anyhow. Jake was probably the best promo man of all time though.

Real nostalgia is seeing the WWF logo pop up on your screen and hearing Mr.McMahon calling it.

I don't feel nostaligized watching Mae Young give birth to a ing hand, Triple H having dry sex with a dead body, or the WWF le being tossed around like a candy.
But that Mae Young tact was funny you must admit.

Leading up to the alliance angle brings back some crazy nostalgia.

The Big Show was just a riot. He'd come out and everything was up and above his waist. That poor thing wasn't out there 2 minutes and it all fell down below his waist.

    tee, hee.

Everything in the At ude Era was just crazy gimmick matches and a million PPVs per year.
Good lord, you're re ed..... you think the At ude Era had too many gimmicks, but you prefer the '80s era, which was basically one long ongoing gimmick
