5-8 from the line tonight. Had a potential clinching FT miss against Phoenix.

Should he have extra sessions with Chip?

It has to be more mental at this point, iirc he is still shooting 80% and hasn't had a problem in the past.

Kawhi is a good free throw shooter and he missed one in the final minute. It happens. Manu's made many, many clutch free throws.

Yes he has, but we are talking the now or this year! The past won't help during the playoffs or big games, hopefully he gets it right mentally because obviously he is off for now and missing more of them this year.

Manu's main issue here seems to be that he gets lazy when he takes his first free throw after playing for awhile. Like he's using it as a rest period, and doesn't focus enough on the free throw. . .then leaves it short. He then thinks, " ", and focuses on the next one, always hitting it.

I think he's just trying to take too much of a break and ends up clanking one. He probably needs someone to get on his ass about being lazy. It doesn't seem to really be a form issue, just a fatigue and mental lapse issue.

That makes sense Kidd. I thought he ran out of gas int he second half.

I'm more worried about what happened to the defense. It was pretty bad out there.

He's shooting ~72% since the All-Star Break, which is certainly concerning. It's probably just a phase, though. We'll see. He's still at 79-80% on the season.

I've noticed his 1 for 2 FTs are happening the majority of the time after a hard foul.

Call me crazy, but I still trust him over pretty much anybody on the team if we needed 2 free throws to tie the game.

I agree Manu and Tony are more consistent on the line than most on the team.
