I understand that messi is considered as the best player in the world right now, but lebron is clearly much much more dominant on his sport than messi. I'd like to think that Ronaldo is a better comparison, he's just as good as messi, much more physical too.
Obviously when it comes to influence, i don't even think lebron is as influential as guys like falcao or aguero because clearly soccer is way way WAY more popular than the second most popular sport in the world .

Why does everyone keep mentioning Ronaldo when they mention Messi..... I mean seriously? In 2013? You might have had reason to mention his name along with Messi's in 2008.. but after that its been all Messi. The one's who still mention his name are the one's that are his fan, any average Futbol fan will tell you Messi is the best.

ESPN just wants to elevate Lebron to God-like status, but what they don't know is that they pick the wrong guy, Messi's accolades speak for themselves.
Comparing that little midget to Lebron is an insult to Lebron. It's also an insult to Ronaldo, a beautiful and gifted soccer player (the best in the world) who hasnt been treated with growth hormone.
