That's not what he's saying, if anything he is saying Pacers fans suck
“It sucks. It was 70 (Lakers fans) – 30 (Pacers fans) out there. These are the same people that wants autographs after the game. We’re out there in the community. We’re doing our job, doing what we’re supposed to do on and off the court. Something has to change. I tip my hat to this team. We’ve been trouble free. Been out in the community shaking hands, we’re winning. It shouldn’t feel like an away game, especially with an important like this. Tonight, that’s what it felt like.”
“They always say your fans are your sixth man and you feed off that energy. Energy is down and we turn the ball over and we’re hearing cheers. We’re missing shots and we’re hearing cheers. That kind of brings your head down cause you know you’re at home. It shouldn’t be like that. Now we see how it is. We have to move forward, don’t worry about. Stay focus on what’s in this locker room and don’t worry about the rest.”
“(We’re) not a team that’s in the bottom in the East. We’re one of the top three teams in the East. We’re winning the Central Division and it should show. Right now it’s not and it’s been all season long where it’s not showing and I don’t think there’s nothing else we can do as an organization and as players. Now it’s up to the community.”

@ u ? ya self
He's saying should-be Pacers fans suck OP.
He's right though, Indiana basketball fans should be getting behind their team, not cheering for a struggling team like the Lakers. No big deal though, the Lakers won't exactly be getting better as Nash, Artest, Jamison, Gasol, and Bryant get even older. They'll just look dumb still cheering for LA in a city which has a good young Pacers team playing in it.
& have for umpteenth ing yearssssssssssssssssssssss.
Well I don't know, I never thought the Pacers were really that good until late last year, and this whole year. They've been sorta middle of the pack (12-16th best team in NBA or worse) since the old 90's Pacers flamed out. . . until recently.
Hill just sad Spurs stole him from us on draft day wewere high on the kid. Then Spurs flip him to a smaller market than Spurs fan base wise ..
He becomes a Laker fan he would have a huge fan base in every city.
Aren't you paid to play as a professional no matter who's cheering for you? If you are worried about who the fans are cheering for that doesn't show any mental toughness. Lakers are a storied franchise of course there will be fans everywhere.
Of the 70% of LA fans in the arena, 65% were Bulls fans in the 90s. The other 5% are to young to know the 90s so I'll give them a pass, but they're still bandwagon Laker fans.
That's the worst part about Laker fan, no other fan base really believes your are a true die hard Laker fan because the majority are front running hoes and everyone gets lumped in together. Laker fans on this board are a perfect example.
*Laker fan checks wiki* proceeds to post..."I've been a fan since....since...magic and Michael copper...wait is that right? Cooper...my bad.... since Michael Cooper."

Larry Bird is turning over in his grave...sickening. They need to go watch hoosiers again and throw away all their gotty rap music.
Nuff sed.
, complete bull . Plenty of Laker die-hards. Hard to find many that pre-date Showtime but we have plenty of those too ... Sure, we have plenty of bandwagon fans because we have the largest fanbase period. I have lived in the 210 plenty of bandwagon fans there too ... most are post David or Tim fans ...
