The Thunder is not as good as last year's team especially without the bearded one. The Nuggets could definitely beat them in the 2nd round. If the Spurs wind up as the 1 number seed and on the 8th seed team and then sweep Flop City, they would probably meet up with the Nuggets. I think it's a strong possibility. The Nuggets and Spurs are playing really good basketball right now. The only thing that might screw the Nuggets is that they're a ty road team. If they had the HCA against the Thunder in the playoffs, the Nuggets would probably win.

Denver's been scarily competent on the road lately.

Spurs-Nuggets WCF would be sweet, and Stern would have a stroke if it ever happened.

Stern would still have his Heat in the East so I don't think he would be in completely panic mode if the Spurs and Nuggets are in the WCF.

As entertaining as a Nuggets-Spurs series would be, I don't think it will happen. Both the Nuggets and the Thunder are free throw reliant teams. One of those teams will continue to get those calls in the playoffs, and it ain't Denver. I think the Nuggets will struggle when things slow down in the playoffs as they have every year under George Karl. The lack of a bankable superstar will also hurt. A Spurs-Thunder rematch seems inevitable, unless the Spurs stumble beforehand.

I can see it happening and with their surge, they may be a bigger threat than the Thunder. Without ref help, Denver would take out the Thunder. With ref help, 2011 1st round playoffs all over

i ain't gonna fancy nuggets' chance to make the WCF tbh, 2nd round will be their ceiling imho. experience and brain will be cruisial elements in the playoffs but the nuggets don't seem to have much of neither thing
