44 years of existence. O les, hence "owen 44."
No way, Giu. Not when your team got their cookie assplowed by those DC boys. Nuh-uh.
Suns get the last laugh on Lakerfan this year. We sent you our used up , you bought it hook line and sinker. Now you'll either miss the playoffs altogether, or squeak in and get a round thrashing and spankin' at the hands of the Spurs or OKC. Oh me, oh my!! Enjoy your 40-year-old Nash and your washed up Coach Pringles. Hey, maybe you can sign Raja "Busted" Bell to be the cherry on that poo sundae. LMcontrollingAO!
I'm a trend setter.
I set trends.
Oh yeah,,,
O & 45!!!
And all the while Howard was flashing those pearly whites and just having himself a good ol' time.
After:::
Kobe: 5
the tired old bag Duncan: 4
tee, hee.
Kobe has tremendous respect for Nash. Sent him packing several times in first round. Stole him MVP's too.
Not after this season, trendy!
Nash couldn't finish in Phoenix. Nash couldn't finish in Dallas. Nash couldn't finish in Phoenix. Thinking at 39 he could finish in Los Angeles is without merit & terribly reckless.
God willing & James doesn't himself I have a reasonable facsimile to the Bulls of the '90s. An Eastern Conference roadblock that can stand in for me whilst I sort this mess out. I'm not sure of James though.
I will be in 3 months.
Not till your boys can close out a bottom feeder in the East. Then and only then. Until that happens keep the yapper on silent.
Mori, come on. Its not Nash's fault that Kobe marginalizes him. He's not washed up; He's been mis-used. When you have Kobe and all his TOs running the offense while turning Nash into a glorified Derek Fisher, it defeats the entire point of going out to get Nash and Mike to begin with. Kobe can't handle not having the ball; If he's not going to be the volume shooter, he's still going to control the ball 24-7.
Although, it does look like Mike is afraid to confront Kobe head on, like he did with Gasol...
2010, 1 lucky Artest shot away from Nash finishing in LA, all over your faces..... just sayin![]()
P219: I agree that Nash is under-utilized. But I don't think Mike D works for that team. They have old vets who need to have their minutes carefully rationed. They also need a way more disciplined defense. Mike D can do a decent defense if he has perimeter defensive bulldogs like Raja Bell on his roster, who just do the right thing without much supervision. But for medium / mediocre defensive types, they need a coach who will bark at them and tell them where to rotate and where to be on the floor. Mike D is horrible at that. And he's not strong enough of a personality to stand up to a guy like Kobe and rein him in to play a more successful offense.
I'd say its more of the team not buying into Mike D's philosophy, which requires *absolute commitment* and trust in that system, for positioning, and spacing, and trust in your team mates, to keep the ball moving. The first half of the year, Dwight wasn't buying in at all. Kobe and Pau still don't. Throw on the injuries and the whole thing looks a lot worse than it should. I'm sorry, Nash/Dwight surrounded by 3 point shooters should work - it did in Orlando, in a similar system. Kobe can play D but doesn't; MWP is a loose cannon.
Though Gasol didn't win a single playoff game till Kobe took him in. & Nash fled the side door when Kobe sat for the game here.
It didn't work in Orlando. They never rung. It didn't work here. They never rung. "it did" doesn't mean goose the gate, have fun, skin & grin, then sit on your honkers as Media is busy elsewhere casting down the Lakers.
"work" means making the playoffs & winning the last game you playPERIOD
Nash was havin' fun there.
Artest had already had his fun, learned the hard lessons that fun had cost him and had come west to [put it back here] & [use the crown of Pierce's head as a sight there] when it came.
& it came.
Yer O & 45, 219. And I'm here to make sure you never forget that.

Beat an East bottomfeeder before talking, Giu. Until then the yapper stays silent, nose.
Please.
