soon the Packers team photo will look similar to that.
Also, Kubiak likes to sugarcoat his players too much when they up, like Schaub for example. Reed will come in and hold people accountable.

Shane Lechler signs with Texans. Good start to improve special teams.
Esta es hecho (well, almost).

First step to rebuilding.Once again, the Baltimore Ravens have defeated the Broncos.Elvis Dumervil, one of the best defensive ends in Broncos history, has agreed in principle to a multiyear contract with the Ravens, according to two NFL sources.
Dumervil's departure occurs 10 weeks after Baltimore stunned the Broncos, 38-35 in double-overtime of a second-round AFC playoff game on a below-zero windchill Saturday afternoon.
A blustery snowstorm greeted Denver on Saturday when the Broncos learned Dumervil and his 63½ sacks were moving on.
The Broncos are expected to focus on signing defensive end John Abraham, who had 10 sacks and six forced fumbles for the Atlanta Falcons last season — or just one less sack than Dumervil. Former Indianapolis Colt Dwight Freeney is also a possibility if the Broncos can't reach an agreement with Abraham.
He got a $35M/5 deal. So a million less per season than Kruger.
Elvis is only counting for $2.5 Million this season. This leaves the Ravens with about $5-6 Million in cap room.
EDIT: And I was wrong on the total value. His deal is a $26M/5 deal (with $9 Million in incentives). That's almost $3 Million less per year than Kruger.
Meh, Denver will be fine. The offseason is not over yet. They still have the draft. Elway knows what he is doing. Dumervil is good, but he can be replaced. That original contract was beyond his value, and it had to be reduced. Jeremy Beal is a guy they already have on their roster who could be ready to explode. When you have a smart front office, losing players like Dumervil can be offset.
Denver's front office is awful. It was good until 2011, now they're just living off the old regime.
Since Elway took over, they have turned it around dramatically. Good until 2011??? They were coming off a 4-12 season in 2010-2011 and hit rock bottom. Then Elway took over in January 2011 and they have been to the postseason ever since while adding good, young talent to the roster.
Not knowing what you are talking about
You're someone who doesn't know what a good front office is. They didn't acquire any impact players other than Von Miller and Manning in 2011. All of their other pieces were already there. Their talent came from the previous regime. At best, Elway added the keystone.
Also, don't forget that they had a coaching change. Just like with the 49ers, coaching can really help an underachieving roster.
But let me guess, you think San Francisco's regime is responsible for their talent, too?
considering how much of a win or bust season is this supposed to be, i'd say losing dumervil (with 4M in dead money) hurts the team's chances a lot.
I loved dumervil and was sad to hear this news, but that dude can't stop the run to save his life, so as long as they can replace him with someone decent the defense will not lose a step and miller will still get 17 or 18 sacks.
But they have a dumb front office who can't even work a fax machine and thinks they can get away with changing the terms of a contract at the last second.... Peyton is making Horseface look good in the regular season only, tbh....
Thank you! We're talking about the same front office which traded 25 for 36 and 101 last draft while the Ravens traded 29 for 35 and 98. And the same front office who missed on pretty much every pick besides Miller these last two years. There's no reason to believe they can replace any member of their core.

You can't really say that until after next season. Orlando Franklin wasn't much of a miss. Nate Irving is said to get more burn (and possibly start) at MLB this season. Derek Wolfe will only be in his second season and showed promise his first season, and Jeremy Beal was doing great in preseason before going on IR. Quinton Carter went on IR last year so it is unfair to call him a bust. Rahim Moore I will not defend. Brock Osweiler is an unknown, Hillman showed some strides last year but has much to prove, Malik Jackson will get serious burn as an interior rusher which is his strength, and the jury is out on everyone else.
You are a little too fast to call all these players busts, and especially as a Ravens fan, you should know better then to be premature. Flacco was known as a player who couldn't get it done in the postseason before this year. There was nothing to convince you otherwise. Then he had an epic postseason.
If plans go to for Denver next year, feel free to say they have a horrible front office. You can't say that now especially when Elway has made an impact on that franchise which you can't deny he has made.
Dumervil was badly overpaid from the Josh Mcdaniels era. Denver is going to have to worry about paying their other guys (DT, Decker, Miller, Woodyard, Harris) down the road. That deal had to be mostly off the books or redone. He is a very good pass rusher, but he was no where near worth that kind of money in that original contract.
When I say that they missed on all their picks, I say that because they passed over a better player in each round. Think about it: Elway knew he didn't want Tebow, but he passed on Kaepernick (literally traded the pick to the 49ers) only to draft some no-name the next season. I could go on about their miscues (Hillman over Pierce probably being the one of the most egregious), but I agree that it's too soon to absolutely label those players busts. I think for a team in win-now mode, they need their picks to contribute immediately or they have failed at drafting, but time will make one of us right.
No offense, man, but that is literally the worst take I've read on this forum. Flacco was one of the winningest quarterbacks in NFL history through four years. He had started every game since he was drafted, and he was the only quarterback in the modern era to win playoff games in each of his first four seasons. He had also seen the two previous post-seasons end on dropped passes. No one who had actually watched him was labeling him a choker. In fact, that's why he turned down a deal that averaged $16 Million a season. The Ravens already considered him elite, and he knew he was even better than they thought. You are a little too fast to call all these players busts, and especially as a Ravens fan, you should know better then to be premature. Elway hasn't done anything other than bring in Manning and John Fox. Miller was the obvious pick, so I won't give him credit for it. He routinely gets fleeced on the trade market, and his eye for talent is suspect at best. Even bringing in Manning took little actual insight, and many people blame Fox for the loss. It's crazy how bad he's been.If plans go to for Denver next year, feel free to say they have a horrible front office. Can they overcome Dumervil's loss? Of course. But there's no reason to assume they're going to do it. That front office is borderline incompetent and if it wasn't for the gifts Shannahan and McDaniels left them (Josh was a terrible coach, but a more-than-decent personnel guy), they'd still be stuck in the cellar like the Rams.
Making excuses for Flacco before this year. He simply could not get the job done. I can easily admit Eli was not good enough prior to the 2007-2008 season, so it shouldn't be hard for you to do the same. Quit blaming everyone else for his failures and just admit he was not good enough.
denial
doesn't want to admit Flacco used to lack the intangibles to be a champion
Seriously, dude, you don't have to double-down on that take. Just pretend like you didn't say it and move on. I promise, I won't even harp on you for it after this.
I don't think I have to defend Flacco's playoff performance prior to this post-season. Literally, if Evans catches that pass, the Ravens are in the Super Bowl last year. It's hard to say that Flacco didn't have the intangibles then. The year before that, he was in the middle of one of his now-routine comeback drives against Pittsburgh when Housh dropped a pass that hit him in the chest on fourth down. Flacco's literally had it in him to win the big one since he was a sop re.
If your only way of defining whether someone is good enough is by them actually doing it, then you and I just have different views. Flacco didn't change this season. He made big plays, and he threw some bad balls. Jacoby Jones came up clutch where Lee Evans had failed. Two Broncos defenders dropped key interceptions. Flacco capitalized and won the games. That's what he's been doing for years. That's why I've been so against Flacco being in the elite discussion. He's the same player he was before. He'll make the same mistakes, and he'll make the same amazing plays.
Lol @ Ed Reed's presence is gonna make your teams quarterback play better.
Reed will probably improve their goal line offense as well.
By his mere presence.
