mavs fans will be more mad @ the spurs losing this one than spurs fans themselves imho. spurs are well ahead of the #2 seed and they have the luxury to tank as much as they like

Hardon gets his fouls but thats not why they won
Leonard defense and decision making lost it in the end
    and Parson on Parker

Leonard fouling harden on the 3
letting harden get the midrange off to end it
and for whatever reason he thought it was a good decision to pass it to Danny in the open court

The Spurs are not way ahead of the #2 seed and they have OKC coming up in OKC. Their schedule coming up could be a problem and they could lose HC by next week. Mavs fans though? LOL they are out of the playoffs so they need to forget it.

Money. They were trying to keep the team together, but Harden wanted more than what they were offering. I believe that is the reason.
They should have traded Westbrick and signed Harden to a max deal. He is a flopper but he is also a stone cold closer and a guy you can build around. Letting him walk was a horrendous MGT call..

It will take me a bit to accept that Leonard made these mistakes. Leonard will learn from this. This shall fuel his game.

Spurs need to get it together. They are playing awful ball right now.
They are stil winning some but narrowly, certainly not nearly as good as they were last year at this point! It seemed they streaked earlier this year and mid year, since that some have gotten hurt and rhythm off and they are playing not near the level they were. I sense them losing a few more with OKC coming up and that #1 seed could go bye bye fast, hope not but it very well could.

Can someone create a gif of the Coyote kicking Clutch the Bear in the balls at halftime? Would make me feel much better about the whole thing.

Both are good players. Also, I didn't see too many people expecting to Harden to be the explosive player that he is, at the starting position. Mostly everyone I(that I saw) expected that he would be good but that he would need the help of bigger(at the time) players(ie Durant and Westbrook). I don't know, he is good player, OKC is still doing good without him, Harden has the money he wanted. Seems like a win/win to me. Too bad Harden didn't go to the East. Get him the out the West. lol

Westbrook isn't that bad of shooter. He could be better though.

rockets are the 3rd most ref-favored team of the league (only behind lakers and OKC) and spurs fans have every reason to complain about the refs tbh.

spurs may also sign some player from china, even some ugly one like monke bateer, but i guess the spurs are too classy to do that only to cater for someone or some country tbh. and even if they do procure a yellow star, it'd still be very hard for them to overcome houston who have yao's legacy

    The Heat is clearly #1

Then the 3 you mentioned are after them.

I'd much rather play Memphis with a banged up Gasol or the Clippers over Denver, tbh..

Spurs need the #1 seed IMO..I realize it didn't help them in previous years, but that home court advantage is always nice to have down the playoff stretch..
With the schedule coming up this week and the way the Spurs are playing do you think they can hold off on that #1 seed? They could go 2-1 or they could easily go 0-3 (Doubt it), this set coming up will be huge to say the least. I hope they get a few wins this week.

Not really. As soon as OKC reached the Finals, Stern removed the officiating bias and let both teams play it out. OKC got exposed and got their ass beat.

Good game. Was pretty frustrated at the 7 to 5 min mark of 4thQ as da rox were settling for 3balls that were not going in (instead of driving). Looked like the spurs were gonna ride that to a w.
I agree that Harden flails around too much when he attacks w/ da euro step. In most other moves, he does not flop. He can cross the d over and drive to the cup for a slam -but he does not do that enough.
Manu used to flop on half of his attempts -but not bad tonight.
Still is frustrating how TP and TD act like they never foul.
Gr8 win for the rox for sure.

Duncan called the refs out on Harden's 17 FTA tonight. He said something like "not all of them were earned."
