He did have a rather traumatic experience.
I always thought it was wierd that Rick didn't know there was a prison near the whole time, since you know he was a cop in the area.
He did have a rather traumatic experience.
Truth. he's a pretty ty leader.
in Merle killed the kid
merle
. Powerful episode. Would have been better had I not known about the major event in the episode.
worried about getting married in a zombie infested world. Here's your ring . I just cut it off of a zombie's finger

sons now that's how the eps should be. talking, but meaningful talking that actually furthers the plot and storyline. not "can I see your stump?" or "I'm a random goon of the guvnah and I lost my family". the only stupid part about this episode was when in the armor decided to bore us to tears with his stupid marriage . I'm hoping he dies in next week's bloodbath.
speaking of which, here's my death wishlist:
in the Armor
Mandrea
Carl
1 or 2 of the women are definitely gonna die. if this show taught us anything, it's you can't have too much of one type. in this case, you can't have Mandrea, the two daughters, Shane's kid, Carol, and possibly T-Dawg part 2's sister alive at the same time.
blonde girl gonna die probably she's had nothing to do this season and Daryl lost merle so losing carol his buddy would be ed up
yeah, either Carol or blondie is gonna die since one of them has to be alive to look after Shane Jr; probably blondie. I don't think they'd kill of Herschel cuz he's the doctor, but I'm really hoping in the Armor dies because of this whole wedding thing. it's like the guy that shows the picture of his girl back home to a friend before heading into battle: destined to die.
thinking about it hershel smiled in this episode so he's going to have to lose something now. To be sad again
Twice last night I thought to myself that Darryl would be a better leader.. , even Carl.

That proposal was pretty damn stupid. And it's funny how bullets travel through 3 zombie heads in a row but not non-zombie heads. I hope it's a good finale.
Barring the actual zombie killing scenes it's taken on a soap opera cadence & feel to it.
I love soap operas, but, not disguised this way.
To me one of the themes is that Rick is not a good leader. He says he's not their governor. He is weak and he doesn't try to be hard.
I rewatched the series up until Shane and Tubs went to the FEMA trailer (tbh I just wanted to see Carl get shot). Cuck was a decent leader up until the point where he found he Lori was a and would have to raise Shane's kid like a good cucky; he's been a mental midget ever since. Glen was ok until he got his cherry popped and has been a clingy since. Only Daryl has been a rock the whole series.
Until recently I had no idea this show's production company was bound to the writer of this materiel. I wish I had not found this out, but, it explains a lot of what has happened, and why things didn't happen another way(s).
me.
Until this last episode.
the source material and the show differ greatly at this point.
But, still the producers are bound by the author's dictates. It stinks. WTF was I thinking to begin with? For some stupid reason I thought they had full autonomy. I was vaguely aware of the comics, but, subsconciously just thought the author had sold the rights. Some of the they've done made no sense. Now it does.
he gets a pass for that; I was pissed too cuz Merle was awesome. it's just a shame the guys behind the scenes didn't have more eps with those two together. they had what, the hallucination ep and the one where they escaped from Mayberry? fail.
Well Glen will be happy Merle is gone
As for Darryl. I don't see him as a leader type. He is just good at hiding his emotions. He had a hard life even before the apocalpyse. Not everything phases him the it way it does for Rick who seemed to lead a very comfortable life before everything went down.
Even Merle was saying that his brother needs to think for himself. So far he's been drifting between Rick and Merle. Yesterday was the only time he told Rick no he'll go find his brother by himself; and told Rick what to do which was stay with his family.
Darryl didn't want to deliver Michonne to the governor and told Rick "it's not us", but he was still deferring to what Rick wants. A leader would be more adamant about his opinion or stance.
