    Between then and now, even Magic was prognosticating the Lakeshow wouldn't make the playoffs and wanted D'Antoni fired... he never said a peep about injuries. Lakers were just playing THAT bad..

    (which obviously makes the current turnaround all about playing harder and closing out games)

    They got better since the All Star break... good enough at least to beat middle of the road teams at home (that fluke OKC game notwithstanding)... good enough for 8th seed, tbh
