    lol soccer. played by third world countries because they lack the facilities and money to build tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, etc. poor people play soccer for the same reason they drink dirty ass water - that's all they can do. And the fact that the US doesn't drink piss water, aka give a about soccer, doesn't bother me one bit.

    I actually love The World Cup but never really watch soccer outside of that. I'll be dissapointed if team USA isn't in the WC. Admit it, if team USA was dominating you would be watching that and sporting Donovan jerseys. You know that in Koolaid would be a Brazil fan no matter what since he only likes front running teams and Clippers Nation would like Uruguay because of the way it sounds.

    same here. I like it that way, get my soccer fix every four years and could care less what happens in between.

    Soccer is not really a sport that is easy to commercialize, and typical fat american needs multiple bathroom/kitchen breaks in between the action

    WC even with it's bumps in the road is still the best sports compe ion in the world and it's not even close, no not even olympics come close
