clippernation needs to find a scapegoat to protect the monkey bros who're the real reasons why they lost. neither of them could stop the 36yr old dirk at the low post and the mavs were kind enough to not go hack-a-shaq on demonkey jordan tbh. monkeyball #32 has every element needed for him to become a great player but his lack of IQ will always be the biggest obstacle in his way tbh. dude doesn't only have the athleticism of a monkey, but he also has a monkey's brain

A scapegoat? Seriously? Try sitting through three years of Vinny's "coaching" and then tell me it's an excuse

Not to deflect all blame from Del Negro, but at a point in the game where the Clippers basically had control of it, the game was lost in about a one minute stretch late in the fourth quarter after Dallas had started to double CP3 all the way out by halfcourt. The Clippers basically had 4-on-3 for several possessions in the halfcourt with a 3 point lead, and with about 2:30 left when CP3 was forced to give up the ball, Caron Butler and Matt Barnes combined to take three consecutive three-point shots in less than a minute span. How is your team at a big advantage in a 4-on-3 scenario in the halfcourt and you settle for three consecutive three point shots? Aren't high school kids coached to go straight to the rim when there's a double team that far away from the basket? No attack at the basket to force a scattered defense to foul? Sorry, that's not all on Del Negro. That's more on the stupidity and laziness of Butler and Barnes to take those lazy shots in that situation. They could have sealed the game right there.

That's Vinny's offense, though - iso, iso, iso, chuck up threes.... it's basically the Thunderefs gameplan without a Durant and Kevin Martin to consistently drain jumpers and get to the line all game, so what we're left with is like Matt Barnes chucking up airballs in the clutch....

Those were terrible shots by Barnes and Butler for sure, but that is actually what they're being "coached" to do.....

He's done a much better job than I expected, tbh. I can't tell if he is worse as a coach or a player though.
