I had unlimited with sprint, but never went over 2GB, I now have 2 GB with tmobile. However, to be fair, I have wifi at home and at work. I can imagine that I would use a lot more if I didn't have wifi at work.
What kind of data plan do you have? Don't you have to stream from cloud each time you wanna play music?
Just to give you some context, I had a 500MB data plan until a couple of motnhs ago (and this is common here). I'm on a 3GB plan but I wouldn't want to dedicate that much bandwidth to streaming my music off a cloud.

the only idiots posting negative , are apple fanboys....
the only things that I thought were that cool were the photo gimmicks (dual camera, and the multi frame on the same picture), which I am sure someone will port to aosp soon and the everyone has the same thing playing on their phone feature. The latter seems like one of those really cool features that will never ever ever ever ever ever ever be used, though.
Not anymore
If she gets an HTC, we'll have something in common![]()
Don't get caught up in the octo-core hype of the international version.
You'll never get to use more than 4 cores at any time, because that SoC is divided into 4 'low-performance' cores and 4 'high-performance' cores, switching between the two depending on what the phone is doing at the time. Most likely, you're going to get similar benchmark scores between the US Snapdragon versions and this.
In addition, considering the difficulty community devs have had with getting custom ROMs to work with Exynos processors in the past year, I'd actually be happier to get the version with the Snapdragon processor. At least Qualcomm is much easier to develop custom ROMs on.

Sounds like if they simply quit locking down their for no reason they could make some inroads.
Potential smart phone gamepad coming out from samsung. Will fit devices upwards of 6.3''.... I really hope the note3 isn't 6.3'', unless it's almost all screen and very little/no bezel.

Samsung about to get sued again ?![]()
they should get sued, they deserved to get sued for the S2 IMO
Nah, they like getting obliterated by Samsung.
Depends on dev-friendliness for me tbh. They can make the One out of gold but if they won't let me install CM10.1, they can off.
Many devs, including CM have said they refuse to develop for the S4.
I doubt there will be much issue with development for the One.
why are they refusing to develop for s4?
Devs were mad with the S3 international devlopment (Exynos chip) because not all sources were ever released, leading to bugs with camera and project butter. S3 North American (Qualcomm) didn't have such an issue.
I think the rest of the team came out and said that statement wasn't supposed to speak for all of them, and that he was voicing his fustrations with the Exynos version.
In any case, this would only affect 'official' ports of CM; as only as CM sources exist they'll definately be ports of the ROM. And with this phone probably sellng 50+ million, I doubt even the whole CM team would have this stance.
HTC always makes development a , OTOH (however it's better with Qualcomm chips).
They aren't refusing to develop for the S4. There is a team (team hacksung I think) that said that they are not going to dev. Koush a developer that has developed clockworkmod recovery, carbon, desk sms, etc and a friend of Steve (Cyanogen) posted that he saw steve with an S4 with CM 10.1 on it about 2 weeks ago. The problem seems to be with the exynos. Samsung is close sourcing the libs and drivers for the exynos. The us variant, however has the qualcomm s600 in it. Qualcomm is very forthcoming with its development and the impression that I get from a post on G+ that steve made was that as long as qualcomm silicone is in it, there will likely be development.
Edit: steve never said he wasn't going to dev for the s4. at all. In fact his only real comment on the subject was that CM doesn't commit or not commit to a phone. You will know it is going to be supported when its supported.
with all of that being said, HTC makes it a complete to get s-off which gives full access to the bootloader (necessary to dev). Also, HTC is incredibly slow to release source too so you have similar problems as with the exynos.
and yes I am ing cool by calling them by their real first names.
I just realized how pretentious I probably sounded, so I went all in to diffuse it . . . or not . . . you.
Yup. I don't think any HTC device with a Tegra chipset got S-off. Considering sources for the N.A. X+ were so reidiculously limited that no CM exists, I don't want to eal with them anymore. I'd wait for the next Nexus if I could, but probably will grab the S4.
Evo 3d never, to this day even, got official CM support. (that includes 7, 9, and 10)
How long can you wait?
I can't.
I hate Sense, you were right. TW is ugly is , but less of an albatross on resources. Development is dead for this phone, so I'm looking to sell.
Dude, craigslist a nexus, or wait for the X phone.
Nexus 4? Need more space as I said before, tbh.
X Phone probably released in July, stock available Feb 2014.
