Well, part of that is the other team gets some confidence and it is difficult for any team, starters or no, to stop that once it is started. There is a certain amount of inertia involved.
Spurs are not playing physical enough, they are content getting to there shots, getting into the paint but not finishing.. This isn't 2003 or 2005 whistles won't send them to the line.
