LOL, Elliott saying that Manu rotated back out to his man after he fell down. He got up, left his man (AI) and watched as Miller went right by him. He hit a big 3 but it was another sub-par performance. This slump is turning in to a valley.

First off NBA needs to fix that crap where the refs can change an out of bounds call but not whether a foul is committed ... Hate replay rules like someone said its picking a choosing when you want to screw someone....secondly wtf was that last offensive play ... Manu to Duncan AGAIN... It cost is a game the other night and nearly again tonight , that cannot be our best option seriously Pop...seriously .

TBH this is exactly what I saw.

Where is this terrific defense from Manu that people are talking about? I saw him slip (letting his man escape) and then come back towards the rim as a total non-factor. Miller missed the shot, but Manu didn't seem to have much to do with it.

I'll have to watch the replay again though.

Yeah TP did a great job all around. His shot was a little off tonight, but hopefully that's just rust and not a function of that finger sprain. I think pre-sprain he was at or around 50% from the field.

I didn't watch the replay, but I saw him break up the play by forcing Gallinari to pick up his dribble..Denver was clearly intending on allowing Gallo to shoot the game winner, he's their most clutch player..

That forced a pass to Miller, and I'll take Andre Miller in clutch time against my team all day, tbh..I don't think Ginobili had anything to do with Miller's shot, but he didn't allow Gallo to make a play..

tbh, what do you expect? Dude finally shoots 45%, 4 assists... sure, the 3 turnovers were mostly stupid plays, and need to go, but today all of the big 3 had 3+ turnovers

Magic number to clinch the division should now be 4.

Magic number to clinch a top 2 seed is 6.

Huh, interesting. I'll check the replay again if I can but I'll take your word for it. Good play from Manu if this is the case.

Reading the play by play...where we actually 0-3 to close the game? That's not how you close a team out, man. Was it good defense by the Nuggets? A win is a win against a quality team but Lawson only had 2 points. We still have a lot of work to do to gear up for the playoffs.

Pfffff about anything clutch on that last stand

Spurs got lucky. Take your homer glasses off. We got lucky. Plain and simple. Ginobili was on the freaking ground.

I'll take the W. You're right, the numbers were better from him but he's still not playing with confidence. It seems like the T.O.'s he commits come at the worst time and in the worst fashion. He's not getting any love from the refs either. I hope he continues on an upward trend but until he makes more of a positive impact, his mistakes are going to be all the more glaring.

The main thing is that all the top rotation players played pretty well for us. Nobody had a bad game.

Pop went small just before the half because he recognized that Green was on a hot streak, I think. And, he didn't want to re-sub Green in for Manu 2 minute after Manu was put into the game, so he subbed Splitter out. That turned out to be a good decision, at least. Green hit what - 3 threes in a row to end the half and reduce our deficit to 3?

The micro-ball near the end might have been questionable, but it's a hard call.

Tiago made Gallo pick up his dribble. Manu went down when he was screened off. He got up and ran back towards the rim when he saw Miller drive. Iggy was open but it really didn't matter.

They ran :23 off the clock on each of the last two possessions, so some of it was having to shoot the ball against the clock more than about how the Nuggets defended. That's not to say that the Nuggets didn't do a good job making that shot difficult, just that the Spurs seemed more intent on bleeding clock in the last minute than on finding a particular shot. Spurs definitely need to get their end game situations straightened out.

Pop throwing a bone to Manu in the postgame. "Manu stepping up and hitting a big shot like he usually does"

Well anyways, hopefully Manu trends in the right direction from here on out.
