Ty Lawson has a plantar fascia tear in his heel and will not play on Friday against the Nets.
No surgery will be required. The Nuggets are listing Lawson as day-to-day, but we can't imagine Lawson will bounce back quickly from what sounds like a very painful injury. Lawson will likely be evaluated every day to gauge treatment plans and a clearer timetable, but Andre Miller needs to be owned in every league if he's not already. Miller is averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 8.2 steals and 1.0 steals on 51.9 percent shooting as a starter and is locked into major minutes right now.

Sucks for the Nuggs. He was one of their best outside shooters, on a team thats lacking good outside shooting. Iggy, Brewer, Miller aren't exactly knockdown long range shooters. It's literally all Gallo and Wilson Chandler now

Bosh was out most of the playoffs last year but other than that I fully agree with you. Everyone else dinged up all damn year long pretty much and the stupid damn Thunder and Heat stay healthy lol.
nugs are still a lock for the playoffs even if he's out for the season. it'll hurt their chance to make the 2nd round though. injury doesn't sound too bad and he'll be back in time for the playoffs hopefully, but if the team drops down to the 6th or 7th seed in his absence, they would have no homecourt advantage and have to fight the likes of OKC and clippers in the 1st round, where they would have zero chance to survive.
At least in his case it's legit and not a euphemism for "bruised ego" tbh.
