Duncan wasn't the issue in this game. His performance was as stellar as usual.

Tony Parker's was subpar, and Pop's lineups left something to be desired.

Based on Duncan's performance through this season thus far, the Duncan era will continue on for quite some time. "Almost over" implies a season or less, but I'd say there are at least 2 or 3 more barring major injury. In any case, what Duncan has brought to the franchise is pretty much impossible to replicate and he'll go down as the best player of his generation by some distance, whether they beat the Heat in the finals or not.

Let me think... A game that was pretty much identical to their previous game; bench players outplaying the starters of the opponent except Joe Crawford was officiating.

Just a disgraceful performance tonight by a bench that can't score and our star players who shrink at the worst times.

By Pop pulling Splitter for Bonner because a guy with 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and shooting 50 percent "can't score".

I even forgot that bonner was in the game, all he did was disappear. Didn't take one shot, didn't play defense, didn't rebound... 4 on 5 basketball

It really was. He just turned Anderson loose wide open in the middle. It's not like Birdman even set a screen. Bonner just stopped paying attention. He "looked" active while doing so, with his hands up and his feet moving, so that should buy him back into Pop's rotation.

I am embarassed, atleast for a night I don't want to watch anything bball on TV at all! There is no reason you should lose that game at home. This could cost them HC in the end, tough schedule coming up and they should have gotten that one. I know it doesn't matter anyways if they are not good enough to win it all, which they appear they are not right now.

I want the 1 seed and HC but i don't think it matters that much TBH.. They had HC last year and in the crucial game 5 at home they didn't get it done. 1 or 2 seed they have to win games on the road, all the Spurs le teams had to win big games on the road.. No team wins a chip without playing well on the road. Spurs need to get better in the next 9 games 1 or 2 seed, just get better..

This isn't near the Spurs le teams though. That ship sailed. I agree they need to get better the next 9 games though, the way they are playing right now they could be a 2nd round exit or get beat in the WCF by the Thunder (Again). They need to find something, as of right now especially in cruch time I am not impressed.
