when memphis kept getting layups/putbacks in the 4th because Bonner is playing center in crunchtime (including game winning layup) and you blame the SG's, it just looks funny. Neal actually played a good game. Green was just cold, but played solid D.
Bonner and Blair aren't in the regular rotation. Green and Neal are. We do need an upgrade at the SG.

Plus you have other 3 players besides Bonner... Jack, Diaw, Green... forced hero shots when you're locked in by 3 guys are not what got us there

These guys just can't handle pressure. Why the would you leave a 3 pt shooter wide open when you're up 3?
Don't know what it is. They got lucky vs Clipps and Nuggets. But they're really in a funk. Guess they're due this? In 2005 they went 6-5 in April so it's not the "end of the world" but something is just off

Fisher. I've seen enough of that dinosaur to say he's done this time around..
Never count that guy out in the playoffs. He's capable of going Horry in any game, especially against the Spurs.

Meh. I expected a 10+ point loss tonight. I'm proud of the guys. If they would've brought this effort last night they would've won...

I usually say the same but he really does look like dog since joining the Thunder

    De Colo at least

Hopefully he keeps improving so Neal doesn't come back next year.

Green has actually been one of our most consistent players this year, and Neal actually had a solid performance today. I'm glad Bonner and Blair aren't in the regular rotation, but they played a combined 39 minutes today. Bonner was our center in crunchtime because Tiago fouled out (that loose ball foul got me irate. he was being hugged for s sake), and they got a game winning layup. not so sure our SG's are to blame today

The Grizzlies don't scare me much anymore. They struggle to score and Randolph isnt playing at an out of his mind level like he was 2 years ago.

Neal's scoring is fools gold, his defense is atrocious it's just that a lot of people cover his ass.

I guess I'm just angry that we are so reliant on Green and Neal. Green still isn't mentally tough enough and Neal makes some dumb-ass decisions. Especially knowing our best SG is going to miss some time of the playoffs.

    We lost tonight due to:

    1. Neal being selfish and not hitting Jack for the easy layup.

    2. Neal leaving Conley open for 3.

    3. Some questionable calls that ended up fouling Tiago out.

One big thing people are missing. Tim or Tiago would've had Green's back on that Conley layup. But Tim is at home and Tiago fouled out because of the refs..

No I mean this season since he cried his way out of Dallas and then re-joined the Thunder...

We should be fine in the first round, whoever we play. I'm actually really glad we have Green, who's a pretty steady player. Not sure if he should be defending point guards, but at least he's not an undersized 2, like much of the NBA has, and he's become one of the league's best shooters. Glad we locked him up. Neal is another story, but he likely won't be back after this season, especially with Nando playing much better as of late, and the likelihood of some team throwing money at Neal

Kawhi is going to have most of those late game defensive assignments tbh. As well as Tim instead of Bonner.

Danny shouldn't have let him go left but Conley still hit a tough shot.

Gary leaving him wide open when down by 3 was 10x more stupid tbh.

This. Pop doesn't get enough blame. Neal's still making the same defensive mistakes since day 1.

#1 is what pisses me off about the guy the most. He's so consistently selfish even Kobe would call him a ballhog and at least that rapist has a reason to hog the ball. But I know there are alot of Spurs fans out there who absolutely love the guy and it's only because of that one game winner two freakin' years ago against the Grizzlies that didn't end up meaning anything and he hasn't been that clutch ever since anyways. The guy is a poor defender, undersized for the position he plays, has terrible offensive awareness, uncooperative with teammates, and his one positive in shooting ability is overrated. His FG % has gone down each year and he's barely hovering at 40% for the season now. Give his shot attempts to De Colo and De Colo would do more with them. He's as useless as Bonner, tbh.
