See, Neal was acquitted. While acquittal doesn't mean free of guilt (*cough Simpson *cough), it generally stands well on its own. In the Neal case, the "victim" was caught with inconsistent details, witnesses backed Neal up over and over again, and physical witness backed Neal up as well.
However, in Kobe's case, the case was only withdrawn because Faber refused to testify. Was it because of media pressure? Death threats by Kobe fanbois? Nothing ever happened? Money payout? Nobody knows, but the case against Kobe is a lot stronger than that against Neal.

Wow. That's a great team. Did the lakers do that? I mean, 4 rings in 14 seasons is quite an accomplishment. That's more than 26 teams in a 30 team league. Only an idiot would think that is not a great track record.
