I've seen improvement over the last few games
the worst rotation wing player on an NBA playoff team, tbh?..
Only Keith Bogans is as bad, off the top of my head..
I've seen improvement over the last few games
No, that's still RJ
RJ barely plays IIRC..he averages half as many minutes as Jackson, he's not a rotation player..
I actually think he's just now awakening from his hibernation. Give him a few more games to round into shape and turn that activity into production.
I have only seen him play one good game most of the issues has to do with terrible passes and just not being a threat on offense.
Be careful. He'll burn you in the playoffs.
Horry was awful at times during the regular season as well.
His passing is good, ambitious at times, but good. Most of his T.O's are from strips when driving. I like that he isn't forcing things offensively. He is getting burn to play defense and whatever offense he can provide is fine.
SJAX just needs to do his thing in the playoffs. I don't care how poor he plays right now, as long as he brings it when it matters, like Manu did last year.
Tbh tbh? Tbh tbh tbh. Tbh. Tbh.....tbh tbh tbh. Tbh. Tbh! Tbh tbhh tbh tbh T-B-H!
Tbh.
(No. Non-heat Spurs fans know the Horry treatment.)
He had actually been doing well last few games and in the first half today. Still plays defense at a high level, and he's been attacking the rim much better as of late
He's not 100%, lingering injuries but he'll be ready come playoffs.
He was 1-9 from the field tonight..
Obviously Horry is not at HOF caliber. But look at his resume, comparing Jack to him is a little disrespectful to Horry. And saying Jack is sort of coasting for regular season is actually disrespectful to him as well.
The only thing going for Jackson is merely reputation now.
Fisher (he plays backup SG for them) and Draymond Green are other candidates. But yeah, he's right up there.
Don't tell Spurs fans though. They still think he can play, because he had one hot series in the previous playoffs and because he hit a bunch of big shots (while still shooting a low percentage overall) in the playoffs ten years ago.
Jackson wasn't good during last year's regular season, but he was noticeably better than he has been this year, tbh..
The majority of Spurs fans predicted Horry was coasting in 2008 and that he would play a factor in the more meaningful games, but he subsequently had an atrocious playoff performance that year, tbh, one of the worst I've ever seen from a Spurs player..
Aside from last year, SJAX has not been an impressive performer in the Playoffs, tbh.
Career postseason stats:
PPG: 13.9
FG: 40.4%
3PT: 35.5%
FT: 81.6%
REB: 3.7
AST: 2.7
Every single one of those stats aside from 3PT and FT% are higher in the regular season than the post-season. Sorry, guys, but I'm looking for Horry and not seeing him, tbh. Hope I'm wrong.
318 out of 339 players in PER
his past 2 games moved him out of the bottom 10 tbh
Apart from the time he carried an 8th seed to upset the first seed perhaps?
Another gnsf that didn't see last year's playoffs, tbh.... (tbh tbh)
His numbers will regress after tonight's game..
Meh, not worried about him come playoff time. His toughness and D will come in handy. He's a good playmaker and always looks for the bigs under the basket as well. That is a lost art in today's guard happy NBA game...
Stephen Jackson's career as it pertains to this effing forum should be solely based on the 2003 playoffs and the 2012 playoffs. Count that one game in 03 season when he nailed 7 three's against the Lakers in the regular season.
Even I'll admit he sucked in the clippers series last year, but I have the matchup excuse for that one. Until he sucks total crap in the playoffs, he has a good Spurs track record. Any other talk is gnsf or heat fan drivel.
