Does anyone know how to turn this "Thread automatically updated every 15 seconds" bs off? It's driving me mad.

interesting take. i can sort of see it, but Kawhi's athleticism is one of his key characteristics. those hammer dunks aren't a result of being "wily" lol
Yeah I thought about the dunks after I posted that. So maybe he's a little more than a 6'8" Andre Miller :p

Spurs clearly the better team. If OKC hadn't gone on that fluky stretch where they hit a bunch of jumpers, they'd be down double digits by now.
If the officiating calls were even and they hadn't hit fluky shots they'd be down 20.

TD and Pop need to sit and have a talk with Kawhi and tell him that he needs to do this every night...

The bench is the biggest concern. It was hard watching them play for that stretch. Hopefully, Neal stays hot, which should open up Splitter and Green.

Like I said, it helps to have a completely healthy team. The Thunder haven't had any injury setbacks all year while the Spurs have.

Parker should pick it up this second half. Can't tell if he's coasting or still recovering.

Leonard is snatching up rebounds, attacking, setting up mates, and playing defense. Stud. Duncan, Green, and Neal helping too.

Um. Sample size was YOUR point, pal. I was just using it against you since it's right there for the taking, ESPECIALLY considering we've been injured all year and still have a better record.
That doesn't make any sense. Playoffs are all that matters. Spurs getting beat by an 8th seed, swept by the Suns, then dismissed by OKC is a result of many a regular season analysis. Your point that "regular season doesn't matter" is silly, especially in context. Spurs have many issues that are visible in the regular season even though an individual game might not always say much.

What the ? When did I say there's nothing to worry about? When is there EVER nothing to worry about for an NBA team. I bet Miami fans are worried right now.

However, this kneejerk reactionary bull based on a SINGLE REGULAR SEASON GAME is just absolutely ing absurd.
I said Spur fan reaching for silver linings is funny and you took offense. There is always a silver lining for even the worst teams - makes no sense to act like it is something to bank on. No one in MIA is worried. That's silly. This is not a knee-jerk reaction at all. Read my posts (and even guys like Timvp) that have been speaking about the signs for a while. No one is saying they are done, but there is more than enough reasons to be alarmed like I listed. This is more than your typical regular season game and saying otherwise is just being flat out intellectually dishonest even if it ends up meaning nothing in the long run.

Can you imagine where this game would be if someone guarded Fisher?

Spurs shot 39%, way under their avg, and are still in the game.

OKC's defense isn't at all shabby, coupled with Spurs bricking, Spurs fighting to stay in the game.

If I were Pop I'd play Bonner over Diaw. Diaw has gone from Bad to Worse really.

Duncan getting no love from the refs tonight. Looked like he got fouled at least 4 times while shooting in the 2nd quarter and didn't get a whistle even once.
    play offs all over again

Outside of Fisher going fnuts, not bad. Not bad at all. It's going to be really difficult to win this but it's at least imaginable at this point.

And, damn, Leonard's growth continues to astound.

TP's burst clearly isn't there yet, you can notice whenever a big is switched onto him instead of exploiting it, he passes it to the big with the smaller guy on him. Not that that's the wrong basketball play, but it's not what he normally does. He's still recovering, but he'll be fine for the playoffs. And if we play the lakers tony running at 50% would still blow by everyone

I agree with some home cooking for the thunder but thats to be expected. Why on earth wasn't the second unit running pick and rolls like mad with neal and splitter? Diaw was trying to facilitate on the second unit and take shots but seems a little cold tonight. I'm not sure who was supposed to be guarding Fisher but why leave him wide open?

Tim was rushing his shots in the 2nd quarter, he needs to be patient like he was in the 1st, tbh..don't let the refs affect you..

Spurs obviously need Parker to wake up and play like a star, along with either Neal/Green being hot in the 2nd half..it would also help if one of Splitter/Diaw/De Colo/Bonner contributes at all..

Typical Boris Diaw. His fatass is too lazy to ever contribute consistently. I hate bringing down players on our team but I also hate players who don't give effort.
