The run came with Green out and Neal who can drive in the paint in.

    Secondary playmaker ftw.

If I were Pop I'd play Bonner over Diaw. Diaw has gone from Bad to Worse really.
I don't get the Diaw either, he plays like he is trying to get the record for assists because he doesn't shoot, nor does he rebound or defend, I'd put Blair in if not Bonner

That doesn't make any sense. Playoffs are all that matters. Spurs getting beat by an 8th seed, swept by the Suns, then dismissed by OKC is a result of many a regular season analysis. Your point that "regular season doesn't matter" is silly, especially in context. Spurs have many issues that are visible in the regular season even though an individual game might not always say much.

I said Spur fan reaching for silver linings is funny and you took offense. There is always a silver lining for even the worst teams - makes no sense to act like it is something to bank on. No one in MIA is worried. That's silly. This is not a knee-jerk reaction at all. Read my posts (and even guys like Timvp) that have been speaking about the signs for a while. No one is saying they are done, but there is more than enough reasons to be alarmed like I listed. This is more than your typical regular season game and saying otherwise is just being flat out intellectually dishonest even if it ends up meaning nothing in the long run.
Outside of Fisher going fnuts, not bad. Not bad at all. It's going to be really difficult to win this but it's at least imaginable at this point.

And, damn, Leonard's growth continues to astound.

Careful Timvp you don't want to be one of dem unrealistic silver lining fans.

If any silver lining is good to me, it's Neal. Spurs need Neal to win like it or not. He is a big time playoff X factor and if he is getting healthy and in rhythm that bodes very well as he is a guy who can win you a playoff game or two.

Spurs need to withstand the inevitable 3rd quarter opening spurt from OKC.

If they can last those 6 minutes, it should be a pretty close finish. I'm not super confident though.

what i don't like about leonards improvement, is that it involves a lot of dribbling and attacking the rim that doesn't involve a lot of ball movement.

If Diaw doesn't do anything during his first stint, Bonner should get a few minutes, tbh..

Man, Fisher can kiss my ass. Seriously, is there a bigger coat tailer in the NBA? Put me in the ing game, I won't leave his ass open just to drift to the paint area and act like I'm doing something (ala Neal)...

If Parker wakes up and the bench doesn't get curbstomped, this can be close down the stretch. It'd still be difficult to win because of the FTAs but I'll take the puncher's chance.

Random throw away line. That doesn't make any sense especially when you can see my posts stating they can still be in this very game

well last year he was passing more and so was timmy, i am fairly confident in saying that they are slowing down the offense a bit comparing to last year.

To elaborate, I don't think the Spurs are contenders right now, but if they aren't, then no one else is besides Miami. We're probably the only team that can give them a run over 7 games. Of course I'm worried. Manu isn't 100% and we don't have nearly the cohesion that we did last year.

But again, those things have a habit of fixing themselves. I think if we're healthy, we're the best team in the West and probably stand the best chance to make the Finals. That's all I can ask of a team that was supposed to be too old to compete back in 2009.
